Well I must waut for mine to get deleted than. It seems the lego manufacturing company wanted to get rid of them. And Tom could not fight it. Well maybe they won't find mine...

Thanks for digging all that up piepie

P.S. like your name...

eh no problem

I doubt they are going to delete yours because the hype went down.

On another note I have been experimenting with the Green Screen technique and well the way I do it is really sloppy and very time consuming so if anyone does it could you say how you do it to see if I'm doing it right or not.

heeheh piepie I wanted Pie but why just pie when it could be 2x the fun with PiePie..

I just saw and reviewed your "catch me if you can" film, and wow was that well done. Like if you keep stuff like that up you are going to be an awesome animator, no joking.

Keep it up man you are a talent! Unlike me who may one day stoop to your level, but anyway nice job.

(p.s. are we making a clay collab?)

go watch Life As A Dreamer if you want some good animation skills...

Also I kind of feel that I did bad on those movies because there was no flash skills involved like my lessons in life 3 which had that intro and stuff done in flash to keep those pesky anti clay people at ease.

collab? I do not no how that will work plus im working on some stuff that is going to keep me busy until summer.

I have no clue why its not opening- Any error message? Did you try clearing your cache and re-downloading it?

If everything fails:
Here an older version without the new icons and audio, still nice.

On some computer I also needed to install a dll or a ocx, cant recall which one though.

Here in germany, at least in most regions, there are public tv stations.
Except for some laws & limitations everyone can go there, and produce / broadcast shows, even live.
You can "rent" studios, cameras, sometimes even a video-bus, for free.
It is payed from the tv fees we have to pay by law for the public stations.
Its great for kids & students/schools, unfortunaly most stations are beeing taken over by bad holiday-videos, wedding videos and so on.
A few friends and I produced a live computer show every other month, and then I and a buddy started a pre-recorded show, where we build a computer, in another episode a r/c airplain from scratch using hardware-store-utilities, and one about green/bluescreen video.
The clay one never got done...

I'dd also say that its not good for animating; The arms for example look to tiny, the face seems to be hard to animate too.
Unless its very light clay, it will be even harder without a sceleton- sometimes pipe cleaners will do the job, those are basicly fuzzy wire ;-)

We did it a while back, when they still used analog equipment in the studio; We explained how the technique works, and made some fun samples...
(See attached image below.)
I once made a tutorial for Zweistein 1 to test wink (a screen recorder), so its neither good nor up to date since there is a new version.
http://www.nottoxic...orials/zweistein.htm

http://www.nottoxic.com/trash/key.htm
Also, another great free program which is able to do this would be "wax 2" or maybee avid.
As you can see on the pictures we used a blue curtain mostly.
What I do not have images of is a scene, where one of my buddies comes out of the toiletbowl. We sat there laughing our heads of after watching the edited clip.
Another thing I do not have a shot of is a matrix scene, where we replaced Neo's head (in the fighting scene where he passes the guards and fights his way to the elevator)

woo lol thanks I used to have zwienstien but then I find that moviemaker does better job.

LOL I like my technique better with using Flash 8 to do it...

I'm going to be making a movie, little Blobs like in Life as a Dreamer and Catch Me if you Can and the problem is the lip syncing. Should I just cut some clay off to make it look like a mouth and when they talk I just move the piece on top back and forth.

OR

do I make like 10 different mouth pieces and after like every 2 frames I change the piece to make it look like he has a mouth that moves?

You guy's have any idea on which one to do what do you think will look better/ more funny?

Some people draw the mouth over the existing movie ;-)
Well, in most animationstudios they either use a movable mouth, or even multiple heads with different expressions.
Its up to you; My advice would be to make a few seconds of animation trying the techniques you are thinking about using.

Well, as long as you are happy with the application you are using, dont worry.
Its just that many people use moviemaker or SMA/Anasazi, which do have some disadvantages (such as project management, editing, and so on).

Heck, I even made a short clip with my cellphone ;-) Its possible with almost anything.

Make sure you'll keep us up to date (snapshots!) :-)
