It ay just be me being a slow Brit but to me pie isn't pie unless its savoury (dinner pie). Sweet pie (pudding pie) seems to be a profane parody of its name sake to me.

Oooh, it was some banana thing that I had in Chiquito. Fried, battered banana covered with hot toffee. With vanilla ice cream.
