alright first of all if ne of u kno who jello biafra (lead singer of the dead kennedys) is he has the right idea. anarchy is a great idea...but humans just arent ready for it. wut i mean is authority pretty much sucks. look at all the cops who abuse there title. its kind of sad that we need cops around not to kill each other in the first place. we realy should be able to dictate our selves but most people today seem to have no conscience(sorry if i spelled it wrong idk)

(to others i float around as a goth/punk because i wear hot topic pants and band shirts usualy with bands like the sexpistols,iron maiden etc u get the idea) i think if there was no bs like that at all people would wear wut they want,listen to what they want,hang out with who they want instead of 100 look alikes, and act how they like instead of someone asking themself if it is "ok" for a "goth" to do that. but thats all just what i think. any opinions (by the way im sorry if theres alot of "aim" talk in here im trying to phase it out because of you assholes who wont stop complaining about my grammar and its easier just to try to fix it than listen to you all bitch lol.

I think you need to read SomethingAwful's "How to spot a real punk" article. It's VERY informative.

Cripes, neither is better it's just a matter of opinion. I've been into punk since the 60's with the Mc5, Iggy and the Stooges and the like. Also liked the 70's and early 80's bands like Dead Kennedys, Exploited, The Damned, Battalion of Saints, 999, Black Flag, Suicidal Tendencies, etc, etc. Also liked early Goth like Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, Fields of The Nephilim and others. I have a son who likes and dresses Goth, so fuckin what, he also likes Slipknot cause I turned him onto it. My daughter likes goth, punk, and other types and also dresses goth and punk. My youngest son is a skate punk who likes Black Flag as well as classic rock from the 60's and 70's and has very long hair like an old school hippie. My goth son has dyed black hair and he wears makeup when hanging out with friends, SFW, he is still a good kid who does well in school and at least isn't messing with drugs. My daughter has a punk cut dyed burgundy. Myself I have a mohawk. Some family huh? Funny thing is we get along great and can listen to each others music without a problem. Just a normal family with different styles and tastes in music. Just wish others can be as open minded as we are and from what I read here some of you are too. All in all it just comes down to a matter of taste, no style is "Better" then the next, it's just different. Why not try something new some time, you just might find something you like. Cause its a big long story how he got a cd out, the KGB was holding all punks down, the bands guitarist got his college degree taken and stuff.
But now they're still succesful. And great, their setup is 1xguitarvocal 1xbass 1xdrums 2xbacking female singers.
And boy do they fuck up everything, their show live on tv got the audience that the mainman went to his homeplace where theres a lot of punks and they all were drunk so he loaded em into a car and took em to the concert.

I agree I am me. there are some good qualities in any style really I love to mix and match its just part of my style. I don't care who knows I get a chuckle out of listening to the Inspector Gadget theme. (Go gadget Go!) ;D I enjoy myself I don't care what anyone thinks as long as I'm not hurting anyone, who cares?

Honestly, people who even use labels to define themselves aren't the real deal. 90% of the people who think they're 'goth' or 'emo' are rich, angsty teenagers who go around complaining about how horrible their lives are because mommy or daddy took away their credit cards and now they can't shop at Hot Topic. Boo hoo. So then they sit and cry in their rooms, using something sharp to slighty scratch their arms for show and tell at school the next day. See why I hate modern teenagers?

I personally prefer goths as they have 219 exp points and the summoning sword of a'koth.
