I don't really judge people if they're a level lower than me. I mean look at me for example, not even to 100 posts yet :P

But I know how hard it is to get to level 10, I still have like 900 more experience points to get to level 10. But it's been my experience that if you have anything interesting, or intelligent to say, people will read it and reply, doesn't really matter how many posts or level you are.

No. Its usually how one acts and if how they post. Like if they are respected for being funny, helpful, and so on. Level really has nothing do with it at all.

Any level helps, but levels 10+ show that you're a NG veteran of sorts.

I know what you mean, and it seems most people are as open to a level 1's ideas as they are to a level 20+'s ideas. With all of the people who stay at level one intentionally (protege-moi, _Luis_, Crimson_Edge to name a few.) people generally scan all posts, but some just skip over every post until they see a level 10 or better icon, I used to find myself doing that a little bit, but generally it also seems the higher level's posts are more interesting and have more content than the level 1-9's posts. Once you hit about level 14 it seems you level up blindly, I can remember turning level 10 like it was yesterday, and soon enough I will be brandishing a bronze gauntlet at 17 and by the time I get used to seeing it behind one of my posts I will be painting it silver with 18. :\

Seriously though, level should have nothing to do with respect on the BBS. A high level means you vote on a lot of Flashes. That doesn't make you a worthy poster.

Level 10 is the respected o9ne for me. There are some exceptions though (i.e. Rideo, Erathun, illwillpress), and the post count should be at least 500. Although none of that applies if you have quality posts.
