Dave here from FUCKSOCIETY, the newest site to join the NG Netwerk. I don’t feel too comfortable stealing Tommy's thunder by posting on the main page, so I'll make this short and sweet.

If you’ve been spending any time in the portal lately, you've probably noticed my new series of cartoons, Soft Outer Crust. It's my idea of an animated web comic. Just wondering... is your symbol the rubber duck because it—a symbol of liesure—best represents our current century's society? He's also a cute little bastard.

glad you like the site. actually i never, until recently, thought of him as fucksociety's symbol. it has always been a toss up between it, the bathroom men and the naked queen. the duck was a gift from my girlfriend. i stuck a fucksociety sticker on it because i thought it was funny, the anarchists battle cry stuck to a cute little duck. i use the same juxtaposition in many of my cartoons.

Whenever I hear that name, I think of the Primus riff that precedes your Spiffy and Chippy cartoons. What the hell song is that?

I love the Soft Outer Crust series, as I am a fan of all of your work. You've always been the king of musical juxtaposition. You know how to put the wrong music to a movie in just the right way to make it disturbingly funny.

Ahhhh, well. What I'm trying to say is...YOU KICK ASS!
