can i use flash to make gif images?

wazaaa guys... need some help i'm trying to do a gif animated image and use it as an icon in my messenger, i was wondering how can i do that, cause everytime i export the animation into a gif image it loses the animation and only shows the first frame. dnt know wata do!

Yea msn is like that, theres a special format they use that only assigned to msn. Gifs wouldnt work or neither would swf.. good luck finding out.

File>Export>Export Movie>Gif

That'll make an animated gif. As already mentioned you cant use that as an icon, but you can use it in your conversations as emoticon.

you can change settings and stuff under the publish option

Which is File>Publish Settings>gif>animated>publish.
