I hit a punching bag with a baseball bat. It's a very good stress-reliever.

My friend wears blue and pink beads on a bracelet. Apparently, they're happy colours.

Songwriting. Seriously. You'll forget about everything because you'll be so frustrated that none of your songs sound good. In time you'll forget your angst.

Just stop, and think about all the good things in your life. Because no matter how bad you think you have it, it's not that bad. >:(

And now for a semi-relevant song I wrote! ^_^

The Silver Lining Never Looked So Gold

In the times of defeat we mustn't give up hope
And when the disaster sets in you'll just have to cope
It's not that hard when you've got it so good
Trust me, you're not so misunderstood

[Bridge 1]
I've got a paddle in the river and the other oar snapped
And my boats taking on water and I'm not very apt
I can see I'm going down and the water is cold
But you know, the silver lining never looked so gold...

And you heard me say "I love you" and you believed it every time
Whenever you're around the mountain of life isn't hard to climb
And then you leave and my harness begins to come undone
But I guess on the long trip down I could have some fun

[Chorus]
When life gives you lemons you've gotta give those lemons back
And pick yourself up and just move on because you must earn your own plaque
And you'll never get anywhere when you lack a plan of attack
So look at the bright side and get your life back on track

[Bridge 2]
I've got a fist clenching the rope and I'm holding on for life
And my other arm is tired and you're not helping with this strife
But when I let go and I start to fall the end starts to unfold
You know, the silver lining never looked so gold...

And I said for every argument I'd carve it in my face
And after one day I don't look like I fit with the human race
I think we all need to calm down and learn to interact
Because competition and debate is leaving society cracked

[Chorus]

Just find that silver lining
And realize it's even better than you see
Just for a minute stop your whining
And realize that you've got it good, this I guarentee

[Bridge 3]
Well I pulled the string but nothing deployed and I'm stranded in air
Even though they said it would come out, the chance of death was rare
And now from the sky so high, the world I do behold
And you know, the silver lining never looked so gold...

"In the house with the laughing windows, we're spilling blood like a cheap innuendo."

Antidepressants help me out a bit. Still a lot of gloominess, though. Don't mind it much. The world literally used to look dead. Now I'm happy. Wow. It feels weird... ;D

No joke. When Im feeling down, I get some real good porn, have a good long hard wank, and forget about all the problems... doesnt last long but It work a treat.. the body naturaly releases all those crazy chemicals which cheer you up.

Then I draw, and then maybe throw in another wank

There are many things that an cheer you up. But the most effetive are masturbating and eating chocolate. Both release chemicals that affect your mood. If you can do both, then you should feel great. Also every person should study themselfs and see what makes them happy or angre (we are all different). I have found that if i watch about 30 minutes of comedy i can deal with my "angst" better. Study yourself and become a better person.

Hope i helped.

Lock yourself in your room, get some good music, turn it up, and sing along loudly. This really helps a lot.

Stress Ball, punching bags, anything to do with physical things.

Either that or take a smoke, not that I recommend it.

I'm shocked. The words 'wrist' and 'razor' aren't even mentioned once! Newgrounds is entering a new era.

I'm not talking about relieving your pain, I'm talking about dealing with what causes the pain in the first place. Chocolate and sex and listening to music sure can bring momentary pleasure, but you still have to deal with your feelings in order to have a good love life, study, work etc.

Well, except for the singing part, I gotta agree with you on that one. Nothing like listening to Aphex Twin as loud as it gets. :)

Slicing your wrists might help. But if it still doesn't go away, try cutting your eye open and watching it bleed.
