Opinions. (Personally, I think the gameplay is 100x better on GC, but PS2 has a few extra goodies due to it's much later and un-expected release date, still, I would suggest RE4 strongly to anybody looking for a good GC game.)

Gamespot Doesn't seem to think so
Now, I haven't played the ps2 version, but to my knowledge the game looks and sounds a lot worse, and the extras barely make up for that. Also its not as fun to play with a ps2 controller vs Gc controller.

But anyways, RE4 isn't exclusive, but you all should still buy it.
