Let's face it. We all see occasions where the same question is asked three times on the front page, so I've prepared this document to awnser the most annoying, repetative of questions in a way people will understand.

Q: How do I make/record music?
A: Check the audio BBS Sticky. Now. It's there for a reason.

Q: How do I remove the singing from a song?
A: If you're 14 years old, living at home with your parents and have a 1.8ghz Dell PC, there is NO WAY you will EVER be able to pull this sort of trick off. The method to do it is technical, and normally dosn't weild good results. Your best bet is to look for a MIDI of the track you want and edit it yourself, or send a mail to the studio that recorded the said track and ask (pay) for a un-vocaled version.

Q: Come check out my audio!
A: No. Go away. Theres a special thread for this, and its called the audio advertisements thread. Keep in mind this also applies even if you want to advertise music that isn't on the audio portal.

Q: What bands do you guys like? I like eminem and greenday because I'm weak minded, and easy to manipulate.
A: This is the sort of thread that is better off in the general BBS, though will probably get locked there too because they're just so pointless. If you absolutely have to speak about a band or artist you like, post it in the lounge. You'll still get flamed, but not as badly.

Q: The audio portal needs to be improved! This is what I think should be done:
A: The audio portal BBS, though the official AP forums, is not the place to discuss how it will be improved. The administrators (Wade, Tom and friends) have a lot more important things to worry about right now, like paying for the gargantuan ammount of bandwidth NG eats, and Liljim has a life too. Instead, you can suggest new features in the
Newgrounds Evolution Thread, the ONLy offical suggestions topic.

Q: I'm a fanboy of the following NG artist: [Insert overhyped musician here]
A: Again, this is the sort of post that should be in the lounge.

Q: How do I remove my songs from the audio portal?
A: Speaking on behalf of the current submission system, you can't. However, you can e-mail Wade, who will remove it in his own time. A feature like this will most likely be introduced in the future.

Q: I'm looking for audio artists for my flash!
A: Bad post to make. Not that it's against the rules, but it's just bad, as the replies you get are normally from either new producers that havn't matched the capabilites of their equipment yet, or the regulars who use it as an excuse to self advertise. Instead, it is always better to search the Audio Portal for a track/artist you like then try to get in contact with them to see if they would be interested in private work. This way, they can arrange credits, and you get exactly what you want. Everybody wins.

Q: How do I put sounds/music into flash (or any other flash related question)?
A: There is a Flash BBS for a reason, and that reason is to help you with flash related problems. Most people here don't even know how to install flash, let alone use it.

Q: Can sombody give me a link/torrent/email with a music track I want in it?
A: Oh dear. This sort of post is in breach of the fundimental BBS rules of Newgrounds. Discussing piracy is forbidden on the BBS, so never make posts like this. Instead, BUY the music you want. If it's that good that you need it, then the artist deserves to be paid.

sadly the principle that defines a noob guarantees that they will NEVER read this thread - as they always just post whatever the fuck they feel like without bothering to see if it has already been addressed...

they need to be shocked.. like.. with a collar. Everytime they do something stupid. So.. every 5 seconds.

but it was a good attempt - who knows maybe 1 or 2 will read it..

and that is why, the FIRST, and the LAST post we make in that kind of thread is a simple link to this thread. Any other posts after that, and it'll jsut turn into a noob complaining becvause he doesnt understand the rules.
