people who run TV networks would rather have the no offensive crap thats easy to find and broadcast than the intellectual stuff that's harder to find

I'm with Kun on this one. Record of Lotus Was is up there in my top 3 best off all time (With akira and others), Project A-ko was fun as hell to watch and bubblegum crisis is classic.
