Why is "fag, faggot, queer, gay, queermoe, etc." considered such an insult? Why are idiots "fagging up the BBS"? What the fuck do you have against gay people huh? Are you horrified at the idea of someone deviating from the norm? Can you not handle someone who is sexually different? Unless you can give me another good reason to use those terms as insults, it's clear that it's because they're not the same. The word "faggot" is often thought of as trivial, since a faggot is actually a bundle of sticks. But, the reason that "faggot" is used against gay people originated via the belief that homosexuality guaranteed a place in hell. They were "faggots", or tinder, for the fires of hell.
