Reason is natively compatable (has modes on the keyboard specificaly for reason) with the following MIDI keyboards:

Alesis Photon X25
Edirol PCR series
Evolution MK-2XX series
Korg KONTROL series
M-Audio Keystation Pro-88
M-Audio O2 series
M-Audio Ozone
M-Audio Radium series
Novation ReMOTE series
Novation X-Station

The lower priced ones will be M-Audios and Edirols. I myself use an Evolution 469-C, which cost about $230 new, but the smaller models with less keys can be a lot cheaper. I would recommend 48 key at least.

I use the Edirol PCR-30, and I don't find it too limiting. Unless you want to do a big 66 key piano performance, and aren't content with tranposing or doing it in pieces.

But yeah, it's cheap and has lots of knobs. I've heard a few people have problems with dead keys, but if that ever happens Roland replaces the whole keyboard assembly free of charge ;D

Yeah.. Im lookin for a midi keyboard too. I tired of using my computer keyboard and the flat keys on it. I need a midi keyboard as well. So over all, which do you say is the cheapest, most reliable keyboard that you have?
