I saw this this called Ultimate Tutorial 2, and it said that in order to get a gold whistle, you needed 30 whistle points. Where does it say that, and is it true.

Actually, there are a such thing, as whistle points. But only one admin can see them. I won't tell you who, but so you have to guess.

i dont think thats right because ive got a bronze one and i think plenty of other people have it as well...

My friends account jumped directly from normal to silver after he reported an unsuitable sumbmission in the portal. I guess blowing it on flash submissions counts for more.

i have Waay more than 30, but im only silver/ Heck, LittleWashu over at the Wi/Ht forum gets like 3k flags per day, but in order for it to count, the flash/review must be remove. hell, thats still plenty!

You couldn't be more wrong.

There can be any number of any whistle. In the case of Deity, all users having it have to have the same amount of "whistle points." With Gold it's probably more of a range. Probably having an amount of "whistle points" that is between x and y, which change when the Deity gains more. Since the admins never really gave out much information about how the whistle system works, this is just going on experience. Just because only one person has each of them doesn't mean that only one person can have them.

When the system was first introduced there were 3 or 4 golds at the time.

Firstly, I don't think it counts as grammar nazi when I'm correcting myself, secondly, it does make a big difference to the context of the sentence.
