OMG I lost mine on October 26, 2004! He just stopped moving around, sort of lost HIS will to live to... I will sorely miss Shadow.

Hedgehogs and rodents tend to do that. They get depressed when they near the end of their lives.

sorry about your hedgehog man... I cried when I lost mine. I don't even know why it died, it just gave up for some reason....

it actually might have been a disease. It was an albino after all.. I like yours man... I thought about getting a salt and pepper for a long time.

Aww poor thing! It was hard to believe that was the same animal in those pictures. I have only once seen an animal look that bad a great dane puppy with no fur because of mange, on animal rescue. They decided to put it out of its misery. So its probably better off, as much as you miss Gerald. Ever wonder what he'll be in his next life? a two Tailed fox? Sorry I'm just trying to cheer you up a little. ;) Animals are smarter than people big time, I don't think humans are native to this to begin with. err but thats another subject.
