If it's to save the mothers life that is considered the better good, but you have no right to kill an unborn child because you forgot your condom.

Abortion maybe wrong, it may kill a future human, but it would be better then if you were 12 and were pregnent, your in 6th grade! How the hell can you deal with that? And yes, children have sex that early. Would you-

B) Fake you wernt pregnent and try and keep it a secret?
C) Get an abortion

You may think it is wrong, but this is America, and it is unconstitutional to say that they can't have an abortion and are forced to go through all the pains of carrying a fetus, labor, and nursing a child when you may be as early as 11. How would YOU handle it. If YOU were raped, if you couldnt get an abortion and had to raise a child that somebody had maybe agaisnt YOUR will.

Now think about this, maybe if someone you know and love that is a girl, say your girlfreind, went to a dance and was kidnapped and raped, she was pregnent, and then it was illegal for her to get an abortion, how would she feel? what would you do? Would you abandon her? Would you think about her the same way as you used to? (or YOU are a girl, just taking a diferent approach!)

So? The world is overpopulated. It's good that she die. Also, let's get rid of all old people, mentally retarded, invalids, etc. They're only a burden on society and they're simply eating up our resources and adding to overpopulation.

I've literally argued this point for HOURS before, so I won't get into it with you, lest I point out that this is the kind of power determinate argued by the founding fathers extensively. Personally, I think it's BS that you could get married in one state, but then have your marriage not be recognized in another because it's illegal there. Certain rights really need to be extended to all citizens.

I disagree with most abortions, however I don't think they should be banned. It's not my problem or concern if another person feels comfortable killing their baby.

I'll do you one better. How about we cut any and all government support to the poor. That's more humane that deciding whether or not they deserve to even have a chance at life, don't you think? At least by abandoning the poor, we're only dealing with the people who have messed up their chance to be contributing members of society and not punishing people based on an arbitrary assertion you just came up with.

Basing the decision on whether or not to allow a child to live on probabilities is a pretty irresponsible way to go about doing things. Not to mention the fact that your saying that the government should have the right to eliminate people who are potential drains on society. Hell, why not do the more logical thing and kill people who already are?

Maybe it's just me, but if we can kill UNBORN BABIES just because some people don't want them, wouldn't it make a lot of sense to also kill old, fat, skinny, or any random group of people just because we don't want them around. It works on the same principal as abortion, so why not? Exactly.
