Despite the fact that the USSR was one of the most innovative countries ever...

Why do people think that the USSR collapsing was anything to do with the economic system. The USSR collapsed because they tried to change from the Stalinist structure of absolute power to a more democratic one. They also said that the Eastern Bloc countries could have their independence. The then pent-up anger against the system was unleashed, pent up due to the lack of free speech. Which then brought down the system. And Russia was all the worse for it, not that I liked Soviet Russia, or even thought it was communism, but you have to admit, it got the job done.

The first fault that the communist governments had was the radical jump from governments. when Marx created the system it was felt that only after a society with a large working class could eventually evolve into a People's republic. MArx felt that at the time when the COmmunist MAnifesto was written Englad and possibly the UNited States were ripe for such a revolution, but the people didn't go for it. Russia, China, Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, all had very little working classes or had any real experience in a industrial nation before the communist took over, had these nations been allowed to grow and industrialize vastly first, then Commmunism may have been able to succeed in these nations. But it didn't it won't.

communism on its own is a good idea. but past leaders always decide its a good idea to mix it with socialism. this is a very bad idea and doesn't work. maybe some leader in the future will try communism on its own but i don't see it in the near future

You guys should read up on something called Libertarian Socialism. Noam Chomsky's an outspoken advocate of it. It's something of a cross between communism and anarchy.

Anyway, in 50 years, there won't be any labour class. It'll all be done by robots. This will result in mass unemployment, and eventual revolution, which will set the stage for an eventual society of intellectuals and artists.

I am from the Czech Republik. If any of you still knows it as Czechoslovakia, he/she is an asshole that is stuck in 1990. I DO know what the great ideals of the communism are, but I despise everything that has anything to do with the bastards. It is not true the quality of the products decreased, it is simply that there was no innovation at all! For 45 long years! And the products that where availible where very rare. The waiting list for a car, for example, was up to 25 years! It was hell for everyone but the upper class that leeched on the work of others. Ha, kapitalists are parasites my ass, if there was a parasite in that time, it was the elite of the communistic countries.
