Oh this is an old video, makes a valid point but somewhat illogical.

The only reason why billions of dollars are spent on the military is because American is expected to DO everything. The only way that any president will start cutting off military funds is when the rest of the world actually gets involved. That would involve Europe actually watching their own backyard for once (WW2?)

Problem is, that won't really happen. America is the one that people look up to you for aid, defence, and solving the world's problem. That's why they spend so much on the military.
