Socialite: Michele Renouf wants Jews exhumed to find out how they died.

A FORMER Australian beauty queen has called for the bodies of Holocaust victims to be dug up to see if they really were gassed.

Lady Michele Renouf, who was Miss Newcastle 1968 and briefly married to financier Sir Frank Renouf, questioned whether Nazi extermination camps killed six million Jews during World War II.
The socialite divorcee was speaking outside a Vienna court where British historian David Irving was jailed for three years yesterday for denying the Holocaust.

Irving, 67, pleaded guilty after admitting he'd been wrong to doubt the Nazi extermination of millions of Jews.

The charges relate to a lecture he gave 17 years ago in Austria, which was once run by the Nazis.

It is a crime to deny the Holocaust in Austria, the country where Adolf Hitler was born.

Irving was arrested when he returned to Vienna in November.

Outside court, Lady Renouf, 59, ran the risk of being charged herself when she called for the bodies of "so-called Holocaust victims to be exhumed to see whether they died from typhoid or gas".

Dressed in a pinstripe suit with a Union Jack lapel pin, she praised Irving for "standing up to the Zionists".

"I am here to free David Irving and free Austria from this totalitarian law," she said.

Formerly Michele Mainwaring, she acquired her title after a brief 1991 marriage to Sir Frank, who described the union as a "nasty accident".

Sir Frank terminated the marriage after he found out that far from being the "Countess Griaznoff" she claimed, his wife was in fact the daughter of a Central Coast truck driver.

Since then she has become a fixture on the London society circuit and been an outspoken anti-Semite who was kicked out of an exclusive club for her views. She once reportedly called herself the world's "most unsuccessful bimbo".

Jeremy Jones, from the Australia-Israel Jewish Affairs Council, described her comments yesterday as "mindbogglingly stupidity even for a supporter of David Irving".

Irving has been banned from Australia, where he has a Queensland-based daughter, Beatrice.

He will appeal against the jail sentence. with agencies

I think this is fair enough, it would finally shut holocaust deniers up. Then again, if they find that the victims weren't gassed, then Irving will be freed, no problems, everyone's happy and justice is served.

Oh, yes, exhuming bodies 60 years old to find out a truth we all know to be true, through offical Nazi records, court records, survivors records, the fact the fuckin gas chambers were there when we liberated the camps, and the auto/biographies and such of both suvivors and Nazis.

Actually to be fair there is very little credible documentation of the Holocaust found (the Nazis allegedly destroyed it all to cover up their tracks), and the gas chambers used to gas jews were never actually discovered or even photographed. The ones that exist today at Aushchwitz and other various camps are post-war reconstructions by the Soviets - nobody denies this.

The "meat" of the evidence proving the Holocaust comes from the stories of the Survivors and the photographs of dead and starving people.

This lack of credible evidence and suspicious behaviour on the people who have declared the "truth" is why so many people who are interested in the subject matter start to ask questions. Questions that have gotten some people including David Irving in a lot of trouble with the law.

So what are the people who defend the Holocaust story so violently as to send people to prison for disagreeing with them afraid of? Dig the bodies up, and let the truth be known. Hopefully this way the event can be put to rest.

two problems.
1) Its against jewish religion to do dig up the bodies unless under dire circumstances which this aint. so you are going to get many unhappy jews over their parents and grandparents.
2) its utterly useless. Its not possible for such a thing to be hoax. My grandmother lost her entire family in the holocoaust. I know An old couple who both survived it. they have the numbers on their arm. These are not the type of people to get tattoos. Its just too huge to be hoax.

It is dire circumstances when there are hundreds of thousands of anti-semites using holocaust denial as a means to gain more support. Dig up the bodies, find the cause of death and then the truth will come out.

There's a difference between being burned and being cremated. The history channel showed footage on one occaison where soldiers were cleaning out the ovens after the war, and hauled off severl HUGE carts of human bones. Where all the rest of them went is anyone's guess.

Its not about the holocaust being a hoax, its about whether of not they were all killed with gas or if they just died of malnutrition/starvation.
