Stupid question, but how do you increase in popularity.

Your popularity is depended on how many times people look into your profile. Post in BBS, write reviews, or submit flash movies so that people want to view your profile.

Im ranked # 2,096 is this high or low? Like is the most popular #1? If so how did i get this high who has been looking at me? I have done nothing.

Four digit number popularity is normally what you get when you are just voting on movies and depositing experience points (writing no reviews, posting no BBS posts, submitting no flash movies). In your case, you have written 18 reviews and have 24 BBS Posts, which means that already some people know about you (and thus 2096). Also, if you look at your own profile, that also counts. And yes, the highest popularity is # 1.

It is kind of funny, in "real" life, you want to be popular. No you have to be popular on here...heh. The best popularity rank I have ever gotten was 90. Pretty good, considering there are over 120,000 users.

I thought there were 120,000 users, but now it is 105,000. Maybe some people got banned?

I don't think we've ever been that high. The highest i've seen is approximately 105,000.

It seems every week they come in the thousands...heh. At least Newgrounds is getting more exposure which means more movies which thus gives more enjoyment.
