A local politician in Rotterdam (netherlands) said that there must be forced abortions, when a teen gets a baby, if the baby is retarded, or if the child is born in a problem/criminal family.
Her arguments(omg its a she!!) were:
-the child must grow up with love

Thats crazy. First of all a teen mother can love her child to death just as much as a 40 year old women could. Second of all There are plenty of parents out there who do not care or love their children. Singling out a few pregnant teens and claim that all they all don't love their children is a load of shit.

My aunt, who works in a hospital, says the same thing and tries to use the same argument.

Their problem is that they've seen the situation, over and over, and it almost always precedes a divorce, family problems and other 'negative' repercussions. They think because they've seen it happen so consistantly, that that gives them the right to decide your future.
