I think Italy wil lose tomorrow. They didn't face any challenging opponents so far. The only good teams they faced were Czechs and Germans. Czechs had their own problems, they lost to Ghana, I think they weren't in their best shape for the Italy game or maybe even the Cup as a whole. While Germans, they played horribly before the tournament started. And even in the tournament they struggled with Poland and Argentina. They are lucky to be where they are. And Italy-Germany game was a close call. Frings was out, and it looked like Germany played defensively, they didn't get many chances and I thought they just wanted to go into shootout. Plus Italy got where they are by playing cheap games. France on the other hand had a rough start, but then they've completly destroyed BrSpain, eliminated azil and stole a spot in the finals from Portugal. They've had hard opponents and proved themselves worthy. I'd say they hold the upper hand.

My team won third place, so the World Cup is over for me.

I really hope France wins, Zidane deserves it, France deserves it after beating Brazil.

Schweinsteiger really had his night. His first goal was really unexpected, but when he shot at the goal the third time (after Petit kicked in the second one) I thought "yeah, Ricardo isn't going to fall for an action like that again" and I was wrong. Really nice goals, both of them. A yellow card for taking off his shirt but who cares, he was justified in doing so.

I love how he really looks like a "Schweinsteiger". If he'd walk into a pig farm one day I wouldn't be surpised if he mounted a Schwein. Coolest name for a football player in the whole tournament, forcing Kaka into a decent second place.

I know that portugal was probably the most hated team in the cup but I felt sorry for figo to lose 3-1,as for tommorows game i'm rootin for italy because its been about 20 years since they last won

Man, we handed Portugal their asses today! And we've been playing with our B-team tonight. Our defense and midfield were weakened from the beginning ( Ballack, mertesacker and borowski injured, and a lot of players who hadn't played at all during the cup substituted) but we still crushed them. They barely ever got in front of our goal.

i think that italy is going to have a decent chance for the cup because they almost beat germany 4-0 imean 2 bars in 3 minutes, thats pretty good and 2 goals in 5 minutes is very good
