That's pathetic

Indeed, I would scan the news paper but alas, I haven't got a scanner

however there's this article

http://www.mirror.co..94762-name_page.html

in the end he wanted to win the world cup like all the other teams

HA HA HA HA Brazil is out. France lives on.

Sorry about that, but I got banned yesterday and wasn't able to convey my enjoyment.

And yeah, I would hate to be in Old Trafford when camp starts if Ronaldo is still on the team.

I'm not liking the fact the English Media are making Ronaldo a scapegoat. Its unfair to the man.

Ok he was diving, but christ nearly every footballer does that and now they are saying "Ronaldo tried to get Rooney sent of" Eh what? He make a point to the ref as he was angry about the Rooney/Carvalho incident.Did he fall over when pushed? Nope.

Now I guarantee when the season starts Ronaldo will get booed and jeered just like what happened to Beckham in 1998.Although I don't think he'll get the same level of abuse.I hope not anyway. No football deserves that sort of treatment.

I'd be surprised to see him get on the pitch for Man Utd again actually, he's again stated he wants to go to Madrid, SAF will be fucking livid with that and Rooney, Rio and Neville won't be too pleased with him either.

Why did Ronaldo have to come running in from accross the field and bitch to the ref about the foul??? And the the wink??? Looks like Christiano was out to get Rooney, and to get out of his contract with Man U. "Booed and jeered?" ha ha ha that will be the least of his worries if he steps foot on English soil ever again, let alone Old Trafford. Read the article that who ever it was posted above, all of this makes sense if he is trying for a contract Real.

No it's not. The man should be held accountable. Have you read the stories?

Ok he was diving,

Every time he got the ball....

He make a point to the ref as he was angry about the Rooney/Carvalho incident.Did he fall over when pushed? Nope

This is the kind of thing that shouldn't be allowed. He sprinted fifty metres to try and get Rooney sent off. Also, he made a sly whisper in his ear before the game about getting him sent off. His wink to the bench makes him unredeemable in my eyes.

He deserves it a whole lot more than Beckham did. If he's still here...chances are he'll go to Real Madrid. Beckham was hot-headed, Ronaldo is an arrogant cheat who knows exactly what he's doing.

Crikey.

Yup, he's stepped down as England captain. John Terry looks to take his place as the captain.

the Portugese knew about Rooneys temper.

Ronaldo was trying to get Rooney sent off, i know he would have been sent off anyway but this sort of behaviour is unacceptable and should be severly punished. You could tell he wanted him sent off by the wink.

The fact of the matter is Rooney needs to control his temper.
He slightly fouled a player.
Then he stepped on a player's crotch.
Then he pushed Ronaldo.

If Rooney hadn't done any of this, he wouldn't have gotten a red card.
It sucks that England lost. But DON'T blame Ronaldo, blame Rooney for getting thrown off, or Gerrard and Lampard for missing their PK's.

Link doesn't work for me. Anyway, I do find it understandable if players rush to defend their teammates against what they perceive to be an attack by the other team's players. Every team does that. Also, I think the red card was OK. From the replay I can perfectly understand that the ref might think Rooney was doing it intentionally ( I think he did, too), plus he shoved the Portuguese around right in front of the ref's eyes. That was just stupid. Ronaldo's an ass, but I would expect my teammates to do the same for me. Just because he winked at somebody, or smiled when Rooney was sent off doesn't mean there's a conspiracy going on. Of course, he can't expect Rooney to forget all about it when he plays in England again. It's the world cup, things get heated about tough decisions.

Look, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. England was the better team, even with 10 players. But you lost not because of that incident, but because you didn't score in the game, and didn't score enough in the penalties. Get on with it.

True. England sucks terrible at penalties, thats why they are out. No point in speculating what would have happened if.... No one knows

I agree with everthing you said, every time a card is handed out, be it yellow or red, members of the guilty party's team gather round and argue with the ref. But what I dont understand is why Rooney's teammate (and Im guessing friend before this game), Ronaldo, had to sprint in and say something that obviously upset Wayne. Christiano didn't make a very good case for wanting to play with Man U again.

Lol, and for the record, having Portugal win means I win. Im a France fan.
