Btw, to whoever said it. Rooney didn't get sent off for a push, it was for stamping on Carvalho's bollocks, who I frankly say deserved it. It was a fair red card. Also, Scolari isn't the best coach in the world. He only takes really good teams and just improves them a little, not like Hiddink who got Holland and South Korea to the Semis and Australia to the 2nd round.
I'm really proud of England's performance after Rooney got sent off. If they'd have kept their cool in front of goal they might not have needed a penalty. It's a great shame we're going out. This game has such a shade of 98 with Beckham getting sent off and us crashing out on penalties.
I think the Scots and others who are crowing about England going out should shut up too. There's no reason for it, stop basing the country off the media. Every country wants to win it and is proud of their past wins.
As for the Portoguese, I am deeply ashamed at quite a few of their players. Ronaldo was diving all over the place and the referee just ignored him. Tiago had an obvious dive too. Rooney was being fouled before the stamp. Owen Hargeaves was penalised unfairly a lot too. I'm trying not to sound whingy but this World Cup has been disrupted by petty referees.
