Ghana got some nice chances so far, I missed the goal. Oh well, back to studying.

Robinho is overrated for me, all tricks and no real end product. The coach has got it right with Kaka and Ronaldinho.

Ghana are really outplaying Brazil at the moment and although a surprise isn't likely, i'd love to see it.

I have a feeling Gahna might win. They play with heart, and they have too many oppurtunities. Brazil is LUCKY!!!! Gahna would be 3-1 by now.

However, yeah Ghana has been playing really good. Ronaldo haven't had many balls to go for now.

Everyone that goal was bullshit!
He was offside. There were no defenders near him.

France 1-1 Spain

Nice game so far. A pity the penalty took some momentum out of the game, but it was a clear foul. I'm glad Ribery egalised before half time, I think now the game has a good chance of getting even better.

A week ago Ronaldo was being blasted for being overweight and now he's still overweight but he has 3 goals in the last two games and he's back to being the best striker in the cup.

Wrong again. Miroslav Klose is the top striker

Is it me.. or is Brazil really underperforming... There entire bench is world class yet they manage so few goals per game....

I have no doubt they will Crush Spain, France or England, however, Argentina and Germany could beat them.

Ghana were just as good in the 1st half, they were pretty unlucky.

JOPKE, Henry goes down like a cheap Russian whore, trying to get Puyol sent off, wins the free kick which France score from. Cheating bastard.

The good news is that Zidane will play again... The bad news is he's playing against Brazil. I'm picking Brazil for that game.

All right. I'll give you that one.

Is it me.. or is Brazil really underperforming... There entire bench is world class yet they manage so few goals per game....

Its not you... Brazil is playing just well enough to win but like you said if they play one of the powerhouse teams like Argentina or Germany thy'll have to play great instead of good.

Zidane did a good job finishing that last goal but I especially loved how Henry went down holding his face when Puyol hit him in the chest with his elbow. Henry was also offside half the time and looked like he wasn't paying attention, at all. Henry's golden days seem to be over, Zidane is also past his summit but he's still dangerous.

I hope Brazil flunks the next match by the way. I'd rather see France taking them down than Brazil winning another World Cup.

I managed to see a couple of Brasil and I have to say, there pulling themselves out of the water works now!

i forgot the other matches but i do know 1 Brasil vs. Ghana

FINALLY! Rolonaldo finally shows off his skill. He made a perfect goal against the goalie.

Emerson just got lucky when Cafu crossed it to him and then hit one of the guys foot and then rebounded on Emerson's leg.

But over all, they played a good match and BRASIL OWNS!

Great to see everyone is confident about us getting past France, I'm not so sure myself... Guess it'll depend on whether our coach finally develops some balls and makes sure the starting line up includes Robinho and / or Juninho (with Cicinho or either Gilberto as bonus). If that happens, I'm confident we can take them on (and give them a right thrashing too), otherwise, it's going to be tough (even if France isn't doing so well, since, after all, so are we).

But what about Spain? Poor bastards... I really pity the Spanish in the World Cup; they never, ever get to do well! They seemed cursed / doomed to fail time and time again, which is a shame, since they play some really nice football too (and have had some excellent players throughout the ages). Ah well, one day they'll make it... probably.

Actually it's a matter of changing the English language. It is Football, if you wish to be correct.

Soccer is a stupid made up word. Football is the name of the game son.

Indeed
