Yes, it is an actual game produced by Hudson and it's called Bomberman.

No, but they did it to Mega Man. The difference here is the fact that the MM Zero games are freaking cool, while the "new" Bomberman is just stupid.

Thats the dumbest thing I've ever seen. For some reason I doubt the audience that they're trying to apeal to will like the game becuase bomberman isn't decaptating or blowing faces off with a sawed off shotgun.

Not only because of that, it's also because the game's title is still Bomberman.
Imagine a few "cool kids" (ie violence loving no-brains whith a blood fetish) talking about video games:

This is sad, I used to actually enjoy the Bomberman series. It sucks that they have to go ruin things. This is why what starts on Nintendo should stay on Nintendo, atleast they know how to keep things classic. God forbid another company got a hold of Mario, we'd see the Mario brothers sporting guns.

I cant belive they are doing this to an original series. Bomberman looks like some rip off of the Green Goblin from Spider Man, the level showed looked like regular trash, and what's worse is that Microsoft is going to screw it up somehow and make it even worse.

How many more "modernized" games will it take for producers to realize no one likes that shit. I hope to god someone like Microsoft or EA doesn't buy Nintendo and "Modernize" their series as well. I'd hate to see a Kirby game with destroyed cities, huge explosions, blood and gore, and an off tune heavy metal track. I'd probably kill myself.

Nooo and I have bomberman on the DS... and I also have shadow the hedghog and its exactly like all the other sonic adventure games for the gc, except with shadow and he can use guns and drive some vehicles but the gun violence isn't special, so it hasb't been ruined and I actually like it.
