wtf are you talking about. that looks almost nothing like dan paladin's characters. maybe a tad bit like the flatheads, but not like alien hominid or chainsaw. Im so sick of people saying that. STFU.

Well... when I did it I thought it did look like he was running towards the screen, and then I wanted him to walk off. Sedately. I take your point though, I've had another comment in a similar vein (and picking holes in general :P). The reason is, I've tried runcycles before and the guy just looked like a skipping monkey... :s

if you want him to run you have to let his body rotate a bit more forward and him sweeping his arms higher. Make his face a bit more focused on the ground so his forehead and haircut is more visible. As a walking animation its very good though

As other people have said, your "walking" cycle is brilliant, for someone with no flash in the portal, it is incredible.
I've made some critism comments already about this piece, but your artwork is truly good, i'd love to see more animation from you in the future, and prehaps those sexy hands behind the screen animating it?

Anyways, i'm proud, i'd love to see you do a more detailed piece for the lightweight part, focusing on the "running".

I dunno if anyone said this but when a leg is coming toward the screen it should really not touch the ground like yours does. See what i'm saying?

Cool, you animation needs to be more enthusiastic though, this is all that i could find on google though. Try to animate the legs and arms more, study the way the legs move. Yours don't move enough. However, some graphic tips:
- Consistancy, this is a must, your character art must be consistant. On yours, it had lines around the face, and then not on the body, but then lines again on the arm and red lines on the feet? Try to have it all with outlines, or all without, no half/halfs please.

A good attempt, and some half decent manga, much better than i can do.

Work on the run cycle though, for best results use fbf, tweening is harder for it to look good.

Nice, i'd tone down the heels of the shoes though (if that's what it is).

Anyways, the run cycle is good :D Character is still as wierd as ever though :P Good job :D

Yep thats it really, well, four frames and a tween, but I was gonna add a background, and Megaman Shooting Flameman, and having a health bar going down or something. Dunno yet

you definately need an explosion, that would make it beautiful (like not the little moving balls you have now). Do it ridiculously large and in a style like american shanker or camerro (I know it's wrong, i think its funny), or synj like in his soldier game.
