It looks sweet

look great just got to get use to where the audio portal is now,im so use to click under the flash portal that it could get confusing...

It's not necessarily that I hate change, but I really liked the button view more. This just makes the page look WAY too top heavy. It doesn't look very streamlined. But I'm sure if the rest of the page is changed to match, it might look better.

It's getting more black and orange and less and less yellow and grey.

I loved the industirial steel war look.

This is... nice, smooth and fancy?

i like the old one better with the roll over buttons
i know the sound got removed a while back but i still liked it a lot better... this one looks a little too bright

This new header is messed up on Safari for Mac :(

I don't believe it's Safari itself, but the fact that I have a large minimum font-size (hi-res screen so hard to read otherwise) and you've likely used the 'size' attribute to specify the width of the username/password boxes. You should use pixel (e.g CSS) widths for textboxes that are required to fit in a limited space, and always try to leave room for larger fonts to appear in.

I don't have a ton of time to look for specific fixes atm, I will though if it will help!

P.S - Anyone who flames the browser is an idiot, it's a couple simple things that most web designers (including myself!) tend to skip over and can break layouts.

The old one was better. WHY, TOM, WHY!!???

It seems too large for my liking. The old one looked 'smoother' and much more professional. This one looks blocky.

I think it looks awesome! I was just staring at it for about 10 minutes.

My only concern is, how do you "stay logged on"? There used to be a little box to check but with the new quck sign up you can't.

We need a new slogan besides what Tom put up. It just doesn't fit what Newgrounds is and what it has become. A new slogan needs to put Tom's vision of a community together with the identity of Newgrounds. "Everything, By Everyone." Just doesn't say Newgrounds in my mind or in the minds of a lot of us.

"Newgrounds- The thoughts of the world, Collected!"
"Newgrounds- The chaos of the world, Realized!"

Here are two of my ideas. You people can think of something.

Talk around and e-mail around. See what you can come up with. Let's make sure we get Tom in on this one as well.

I agree with whoever it was that said it made the page look top heavy.

The buttons with the pictures and text in them made the navbar look a little more "in depth" than the current one, which looks kinda rushed and empty.

The old yellow and gray color scheme looked alot better than this haloween lookin scheme.
I can't pinpoint what exactly makes it look like it, mabye the colors-font-whatever, but the new bar looks like an ad rather than a menu. I can swear that I've seen that before...

I can remember almost every background/layout since this place was known as New Ground Atomix and I think that the last two were the best to date. The last one had the buttons clustered together so you had one primary area to focus in on. That, and it had a better search bar that didnt need a dropdown menu to switch between title and author.

And I dont care what the new logo says, its always gonna be Newgrounds: The problems of the Future, Today!

I should stop leaving NG. Or coming back.

I like the old format better. It felt more efficient. This one is pretty but it seems like too much. Nice touch with the new slogan though. Though I know I'm going to miss the old one.

Quick question about the new layout; is there anywhere we can click to automatically log in or do we have to do it manually every time now? Thanks to anyone who answers.

The new banner's a litle on the large side, but I can definitely get used to it. IT does look cool, though. Then again, so did the last one.
