there are great deals of movies that thair level isnt for newgrounds, i can make those films in 5 min,
that way we gave 0....

the bad movies that made me leaugh get 1 , 2 or 3
but a realy good movie gets easyly 4 or 5

I dont think u get it, this guy says he votes 0 or 5 on all the stuff, so if he votes on all the stuff then he should at least have some points. And yes i know that once a movie has gotten its final scor that its been protected and cant get blammed.

ok look this is pretty sad but, the 10 second movies that are crap and basicaly have no point BLAM THEM!! yes we all have to start somewhere i know that.

yupyup, i think those clockcrew guys r morons and should recive 0s on just about all of there work, but ive only voted on the ones i watched, if u see it ull see its just slapped together poorly done and corny as hell. thats the only 0s ive giving out was to them. if i dont like a movie cause well, its not my tyle than i dont even vote, why vote if u dont like it cause what it is about?why not just dont vote...

I had many of the same questions about the ojectivity
of the voting system.
I do agree with Wade that if it's well done it should be given at least a 2. Even if I dislike it, the creator but effort into it.

My question is basicly, what of the flashes that are so much like others.... but not quite stolden. The Flyswatter Game has been submitted with everything from Osama to Clocks faces replacing the fly. At what point have you made enough changes to a shareware game engine to claim their effort as yours?

All of these hypothetical situations are objective. I personally think yes, every movie that would be submitted that follows ANY of these examples should be given a zero.

Same with movies I don't like, don't agree with, etc. So what if the animation is fluid? If the content is terrible, if the "message" is terrible, the voice acting is terrible, I don't want a gorgeous terrible movie flooding the portal.

Watching people isn't a bad thing. But before warning or banning or resetting experience points, why don't you watch the movies as well? Maybe there's a reason "STIC ACTION KOMBAT MACHIN!!1!" has been given a zero by me the fourteen times it's submitted.

Maybe you should start taking a look at the authors submitting movies. Why punish us, the ones that help keep good stuff on the portal, and not punish those that resubmit crap over and over, or those that don't take the time to even attempt something good?

How can you say Wade & Tom are gay just for complaining about unfair voting? Firstly, is it wasn't for them, I'm pretty sure this place wouldn't even exist & unless you know someone personally how can you judge them, course I don't know whether you do know them or not, but I still think its unfair to call them gay.

This has been a problem for awhile people. If you recall, a few months ago we were told that LilJim was altering code, like our auras becoming our aura of choice, just to keep people from voting so low on so much crap.

Many people feel voting low on stuff makes them feel they have a reason to be. Like thoughs who are not liked at School or Society. So they just go to NG and destroy other peoples hard work and feel better about it. I myself have blamed alot of stuff that looked actualy 2 to 3 for a vote, but wanted to rack up my blam points. but for the past month I have really tried to give a stupid movie a chance, at looking at the Graphics, How Original it looked. But just because it doesn't have sound doesn't mean anything. but it does help.

alot of you people dont know as much shit about ng as you think you do... thats all im going to say, because alot of the responses to this have some idiot thinking they know what they are talking about. the point of this was to prevent people from blamming movies that dont deserve it, because there are so many idiots that will have an instant orgasm to the word "blam" alone.

for all of you trying not to have your experience ereased, here are some tips and tricks i use to ensure that i vote fairly....

1. actually WATCH THE MOVIE ALL THE WAY THROUGH. this does not apply to stolen movies, but any resubmitted movie should be watched all the way through.

2. after viewing the whole movie, think to your self, "on a scale of 0-5, what would i give that" and then click the corresponding number.

3. if the suggestion above is hard for you to do, then read the captions when you mouse over a number to vote, they help in deciding how you vote for a movie, an im pretty sure thats what they were made for.

4. whatever you vote you get a blam(01)/protection(2-5)point, so dont get all whiney about those.

the last issue i would like to address is the truckload of idiots calling wade and tom, clocks, stick movies, and newgrounds users, or whatever you can think of "gay". its immature and its not going to get you anywhere. you dont see anti-war protestors outside with signs that say "George W. Bush is gay!!!" or "War with Iraq is Gay". and its helpful to remember that wade and tom can ban you...

sorry for the long ass post i hope that everyone that comes across it reads it so it can help you on your way to being a fair voter, or remaining an idiot. the choice is yours... or something...
