The demo, I believe, has some sort of limitations in terms of how large a file you can save, what plugins you can use and things like that. The Fruity Loops website, I believe, itemizes what the differences are between the free and the licensed versions in a little chart.

You cant save in the demo, plus you get extra crap, i think, if you buy the full version
