If you vote fairly, there is nothing to worry about. It is very obvious when a user votes 0 on everything.

If i don't like a movie, i going to vote my opinion, not what the flock of NG goers think, if it has 4.00 rating and i really don't like it, im gonna vote the way i want to, not what tom or wade tell me to. Telling people who to vote for is a dictatorship not a democracy. We should be able to see how many people have voted, not just the views. I personally vote lower than usual, but thats because i search for small file sizes and titles like "H4H4H4H4H4H4H4H4H4H4" or "it was alreadly blamd" or even "alkhalkhlayjheguyvbkagagkjhasjkash"

Hey Tom when i view a newbie movie i vote 5 just so i can give the user a bost and maybe later they will make better movies it's how everyone starts off i started by first flash movies on sfdt.com stick fighting there were actually simular to zio zio

The website is newgrounds here things are run a little differently than in Canadia. No One is trying to ruin Canadia, No one has been to Canadia, even the canadians havn't been there. But over here in Newgrounds, we execute our killers. If you're gonna go about it that way, then make it so that you can't vote without watching a movie.

I have an idea. How about you guys watch a movie...and tell us what you think. Then, you can limit the voting bar to one-the number you believe it is...Thank god for sarcasm

I thought the point of the voting system was to let you express your views/score without being told how to vote? I give tons of zeros daily to some really shitty movies. Most of the shit that enters the portal was thrown together in about 5 minutes by some 13 year old who's hopped up on Jolt cola & just got finished watching Dragonball Z & wonders how cool it would be to make the ultimate DBZ flash movie using stick figures & skateboards.

Newgrounds used to be a tons lot better way back then. It's getting worse by the day. Sure, some of the new features are good but the administrators are tightening their grip everyday. Soon this site will be an empty husk of what it used to be. Being told how to vote is pretty gimp. If I don't like something at all I'll give it a zero. It's that simple.

I dunno why some certain people are cheering this on & saying how this might help them not get their movies blammed in 3 minutes. There's a reason why your movies are getting blammed instantly. It might be because you suck. Don't pump out crap that took you 8 minutes to make & even less to think up. Stick your hand in a toaster & jump in a pool.

If you want to start warning, banning people or taking away their voting power go right ahead & kick your own ass. It's extremely nazi-ish to try to force people to vote how you want them to. People vote how they want to. You may not like it but it's their choice.

In my opinion, only thing admins should even worry about in the portal is submissions with viruses/pop ups, hackers, & site fixes.

I agree, but only to a certain extent. There is a lot of crap being submitted to NG, and most of it should be cleaned out. Some of the good stuff gets blammed, but that's because of the stupid people that just blam everything. I think that most people just go around and blam everything because of the blam/protect scheme. Just because someone happens to be on NG and about 10 really crappy homo-erotic stick flashes get submitted within 5 minutes of each other, it doesn't mean that they should lose their experience.

I agree. I feel that is wrong for a user to vote unfairly, just because they do not like the author, want a Blam point, or the file size is to high or low. A quailty movie deserves a quaility score...

I think zero is a valid vote if the movie sucks, and maybe these people think that these movies suck.

I try and blam things on the portal that are above movie im supporting in an effort to make it rise.

yes, now a whole flood of lvl 1 n00bs will start blamming out ZEROS without a care of being deleted, while higher ranked users must tow the line, for we are owned, for our very patronage. I didn't get a warning - not quite lvl 13, or 17.. or 29 i guess... :D

At least your harsh comments, and Wades MANY responses brought this to light (cut to the chase as it were). He and Liljim and Tom now have enough control over what was once a megalithic beast, and are prepared to use their new powers of surveillance, and crack da whip.

Every site has Mods, just NG doesn't need anymore than a few. I recently complained about a NEW signee who posted nearly 800 times in two weeks, but fuck all that ever did. Although i later thought this might be an Admin Tease (ya never know nowadays ;) It's suffice to know that Wade doesn't have a posting limit, and can manually protect any movies he wishes. The System has changed from within, and we are PRIVILEGED to even hear about it.

most of the stuff htat comes into the portal every day is crap and deserzes to me blammed. look at the stats. every day i look at that is it says something like

Entries submitted yesterday: 124
Entries deleted yesterday: 109

that cant all be because of people voting 0 unfairly

ive voted fairly so i dont need to worry, But there is a lot of crap coming inot NG everyday. Just vote FAIRLY, if it showed some effort give it a 1 a 0 is it is POS major.

Tom's right; even if you don't like it or its not your style... it doesn't mean you can try and get rid of it and give it bad ratings... if it shows that they put-forth an effort and tried to make it look good and fun for you guys.. than be happy that someone is trying to do something nice for you guys(/girls)! I know i am... even if i did just decide to register today....
