We've noticed there are users who vote 0 on EVERY SINGLE movie that comes in to the Portal, so we are now tracking your voting habits. Don't be surprised if your experience points become a big fat 0, just like your votes. :)
If you vote fairly, there is nothing to worry about. It is very obvious when a user votes 0 on everything.

I think that I'm a very fair voter and my record shows that, just because I don't like some of the crap that goes up and vote zero does not warrant me being threatened by Wade. If the majority of movies suck and I am on Newgrounds all day and all night then the majority of my votes are zero. So now I'm going to be banned for spending all my free time at Newgrounds? And what exactly is a "quality movie" when many movies with high scores are crap that have a campaign getting it to stay on the site? Fuck you all, I waste too much of my life here anyways, go ahead and ban me you assholes.

No matter HOW much shit there is on the portal, there is NO EXCUSE for voting 0 on EVERYTHING.
AND THE SAME GOES FOR PEOPLE THAT VOTE 5 CONSTANTLY.
I think NG should be proud about all the quality that is in the portal, but they must know the blammers help ALOT (aswell as the saviors)
and btw there is another way to view the scores of a flashmovie if its still under judgement...

Two non-related suggestions.
1) Having a section of the portal for the guys who make those "Help" movies to show people who have trouble doing more difficult stuff in flash.
2) Having a place for people who are strict newbies. A lot of newbies are piling in stick movies that are way below par. It really shows now that some people are posting some serious quality work.

Alright, I guess some people may do that, but im someone who hits the 0 button alot only because I think alot of stuff that comes onto this website is garbage. I think they DESERVE that 0 I give them, not every entry to this website is gold. Alot of it is crap, and total garbage. My opinion of course...
I'm going to assume that the reason for the large amount of 0's is because of the blam/protect system. People basically make the decision whether this movie will die or live, and vote 5 or 0 so they can get a point. I still think that people should not be penalized for their choice of vote, not that my opinion matters. I dont know the facts, but how many people exactly are voting 0 on everything? I find myself constantly hitting the angry pico, but that's only because of certain submissions.... such as.. "Free blam point!", or... " I know this will get blammed but I just wanted to submit it.". I think the number of people that vote 0 on everything would have to be pretty substantial to affect the system because of the large amount of traffic this site recieves. I can't say for sure though, because I don't know how many people are doing this, and I could be wrong.
One question, though.
If you only vote at the "low-class" movies(by that I mean movies like when a badly drawn Stick figure slides from one end to another and then a big hand drawn The End comes out of nowhere)and always gives them a zero, do you change that persons exp. points to zero? I´m talking now of movies that only lasts five minutes or less in the portal.

I think there is a big difference between voting 0 on ALL movies and voting moderataly that is using the full scale like 1, 2, 3, and 4.
There is also a big difference between a total obvious crap, and movies that are deserving to stay in the portal, even though they're not the highest quality.
ridiculous blamming must stop.

I totally agree. I find that the majority of my votes are "0" too. I just want to know that my legitimate votes will not get me banned. It would be a great injustice for that to happen
Its a good idea i guess... i mean, there are a lot of people who just randomly blam stuff...
BUT....
What about people with "Dark" auras, who are more strict and vote low a lot... I mean... I',m not going to vote 5, or even 1 on some of those damn stick movies where a stick slidea accross the screen and loops back on itself...
Some stuff needs to be blammed...
There has to be a better way to cut down on the random blamming... Because this way punishes people who vote a lot...

It's not possible for EVERYTHING or even MOST movies to deserve 0 vote. You can at least see that movies are different and deserve scores like 0, 1, and 2 ocassionally.

Yes, that's the point I was trying to make. The majority of my votes are "0" because the majority of the things I see here deserve it.
all i know is that there are a lot of movies that dont warrant a 0 just cause they suck....they still have had effort put into them or are people learning how do use flash. people are jerks and vote 0 for something that they view is less than perfect when maybe they should vote at least a 1 cause effort is still effort. be fair...and be objective. thats what it is about.

I think that it's a good idea to have to stop the blamming but shouldnt there be the same thing for people that vote 10 on everything becuase the kepp crap on here that maybe shouldnt be here.

Movies that you vote 0 on that get blammed do nothing. Movies that you voted 0 on that survived with a score, say above 2.00 or so are added to a tally. When the tally gets a bit large, you are warned to vote fairly. If you do not heed the warning, some kind of punishment ensues. Anybody think that might work?
