"A buckshot pellet gun" does not exist. A shotgun loaded with buckshot is what it should say. If this is true then Cheney did shoot that lawyer on purpose, no one goes hunting for birds with Buck Shot. Thats why they call it BUCK Shot. It was obviously premeditated

This is why old people shouldn't be allowed to wield pellet guns.
Fuck, people, I've been campaigning this for years.

It's a good thing he didn't hit Satan too, or it would REALLY be a clash of the evil Titans.
So I'm basically awesome.

Harry Whittington, 78, was "alert and doing fine" after Cheney sprayed Whittington with shotgun pellets on Saturday at the Armstrong Ranch in south Texas, said property owner Katharine Armstrong.
Shotgun pellets. SHOTGUN. PELLETS. And Judging by the fact that they were quail hunting, the shot involved was more than likely number 7 1/2 lead shot, which is about 2.41 mm in size. You don't hunt bucks with shot that small, genius.

Your right, I was confusing buck shot with slugs. I apologize.

No problem.
The thing is, if it had been true buckshot or a slug, this would be a maslaughter case right now. But since it was such a small amount of quail shot, this is really just much ado about nothing. You know, shit happens. It just must be a slow news day.

Further evidence of the Conservative bias of the US media. As soon as it happens everyone's all "it was only an accident" - Clinton would have been impeached for this!

Evedince of the liberal bias on these forums; everyone jumped to the conclusion that Cheney did it on purpose and was a cold blooded killer.

Lawyers look like quail these days, eh?

Let's not forget the coverup and the character assassination. If more people knew about how sleazy the Clinton Administration was with destroying the lives of the accusers, the progressive feminists would have realigned and started voting for Republicans.
But that's neither here nor there. I think the real question is "What is the Vice President doing quail-hunting when the second worst blizzard in NYC's history just took place?" We should be getting FEMA up and ready to start saving some lives.

Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot and wounded a companion during a weekend quail hunting trip in Texas, spraying the fellow hunter in the face and chest with shotgun pellets.
How the hell could this be an accident. This wasn't one shot, this was a spray of shots to the face and chest.

I don't know if he can be faulted for that. First off, I don't know about the danger of this NYC blizzard. Secondly, what can the VP do in such a case? Simply go on the recommendations of the experts. They should be qualified enough and have enough clearance to act independently in cases of natural disasters / etcetera. The Prez and VP are oftentimes unavailable.
But Cheney hunting? Chrissakes.
The one thing force produces is resistance.
