Two of my favourite films are Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas and
Corspe Bride and i cant decide which is the best musical piece
from the two movies.

They are all so amazing and catchy.
Ive listened to them on my mp3 player 100's of times!!

So, i'll leave it to you.
Which is the best of the best?

I liked both, however for me Nightmare Before Christmas was slightly better musically!

The Newgrounds O-Ren-Ishii but with a nicer smile and still alive

Please read, leave constructive criticism, make a girl happy. Thanks :)

True.
There were over 14 pieces in nighmare.
There were only 5 or 6 in Corspe Bride.

Best single musical piece or best overall soundtrack?

Either way it's definately Nightmare, alot of great and memorable songs in that movie, I don't think I could choose a single song, though Jack's Lament is a personal favourite.

The only song that really stood out for me in Corpse Bride was the "die, die, we all pass away" one.

i think newgrounds is a pretty cool guy. eh makes falsh and doesn't afraid of anything.

I would say Nightmare Before Christmas, I've studied both pieces in Media Studies and we discussed the musical side of both of his films.

I think the reason Nightmare Before Christmas has better music score is because of its originality, when it was released it was so different to other films containing musical sequences at that time. They could delve into that darker side that not many other films had gone to before.

With Corpse Bride alot more of the elements Nightmare Before Christmas created have been used, making it harder to create a more original, outstanding music track. Even though the music in Corpse Bride is good, Nightmare Before Christmas has that little bit more edge to it, making it slightly better.

id have to go with Nightmare Before Christmas. And if i were to choose one song, the Boogie Man's song was catchy, funny, and good.

Corpse Bride sucked total ass in my opinon.

But The Nightmare before Christmas on the other hand totally rocked, so I am going with it.

You should really thank Danny Elfman for the music. I'd say N.B.C.

Danny Elfman rocks! Lets see if you can find the links to that...

I like all of them, because Danny Elfman rocks, best composer EVER! All burtons films are music pieces because the music is generally central to the film, without the music, they would be crap. This is why Danny Elfman rocks.
