ACCOUNT TROUBLE:
I'm having trouble getting into my account. I'm a lvl. 9 member on Newgrounds, I've logged in without any trouble for up to a year now--yet today my password was rejected five times in a row. My caps wasn't on, and I was very careful to punch in my info as accurately as possible.
Right now I'm waiting for a response from NG to reset my password. Is anyone else having this trouble? Should I be worried?

Some people have been getting mails that seem to come from tomfulp@newgrounds.com
They are fake. Ignore them if you get one.

Damn, I thought this would be about free Newgrounds e-mail accounts, and an update on our profile information.

They could change your account e-mail so that you can't get the password sent to you.

lol, it always makes me laugh a little when I see a post like this, because it makes me think "oh, it's happened to someone again". Then I think of the poor sod out there who got tricked by t0mfu1p8006, and I feel a bit sad for the world.
Oh well, such is life I guess.

Oh great, now I'm a victim to hackers as well. I don't know whats more mysterious, the fact that someone got my password without me telling anyone, or why someone would want to hack into my account, considering I'm not a regular, mod, affiliate, or admin.
Still, it's kind of flattering that someone would want to hack into my account.

Same here ... I never put my email public. Also, to me, scamming is dumb as you should be happy with the account you've got. But on the rare occasion, I reply to scam emails with 'Yeah, Sure, you aren't scamming me..and I'm the queen of Sweden.' or I just delete them. I noticed they never reply back if I do that.

In George Topouria's new submission "I sent fake NG EMAILS", he says he was the one who pretended to be Tom Fulp and also claims to have harvested 24 Newgrounds accounts.
