How to change the frame rate in the timeline?

I'm working on a movie which contains lot of action. I want a couple of scenes to be in slow motion so it looks really cool. I planed to do this type of thing by changing the frame rate for a couple of frames in the movie to slow it down and by that getting my slow motion. This may not be possible and if you have another suggestion then you can post a reply.

Thanks for your time! Erixs

PS: I understand that i can just make more frames my self and then get my slowmotion but if you have another idea, please post it to me!

You can edit the frame rate by having nothing selected then pressing CTRL+F3 to bring up the properties panel and there you could edit the frame-rate.

I'm not sure if you can have certain parts of the movie with a different frame rate than the rest or not. Try asking in the Flash Forum.

Well that would be the easiest way, and more practical, because you'd have more control over the scene. I think it takes a lot of actionscript to change the framerate during the movie. But you might want to go to the flash forum and see if someone can help.
