File Corruption Issues

The file corruption issues have been haunting us ever since the upgrade, but it is possible that steps taken have solved them. We re-enabled the file update feature for Portal authors, but added a warning message.

At this time, I would like to ask any authors who have been holding off on updates to now update their .swf files with the new versions. After updating your submission, however, be sure to view it and see if it works. If it does not, immediately email me with CORRUPTION in the subject field, and include the latest version of your .SWF file. I should be able to fix it, but before I do we also need to examine examples of corrupted .swf files in order to better understand what is happening.

If you currently have a file on the site that has been corrupted by a file update, be sure to email me immediately!

I havnt got an add in two days...?...but i geuss im not complaining. Also, when i vote on things it tells me ive already voted on it...when i havnt...?....then other things, it will just say deposit your experience, ive gotten that like 3 times in one day once.

Yeah, I been comeing to NG's for over a year now. I been hearing talk of pico 2 since the start. But hey if it is going to be a grate flash take all the time you need (but please hurry).

I have been having problems with .fla files corrupting when I export them to .swf (text jumbling and running incedibly slow.)

I also have problems inside flash mx (such as not being able to click any buttons unless u minimize and then restore) maybe this an issue with in flash 6 (Mx) and the player??

Should we notifiy macromedia?

There was a movie or two I tryed to watch the other day
and if you right clicked, it said the movie was not loaded it... and it never got anywhere, is that corrupt?

I was just wondering if my flash file is corrupted, I think it is. My friend sent this one on his account - without my permission, but he still gave me the credit, so it's not exactly stealing - I wasn't too pissed by that - don't ban him off NewGrounds.

yeah me too all of a sudden..god dammit i spoke to soon....this corruption thing fucked up my whole computer!!!
now every single fucking file takes a million hours to load..i had to wait 15 minutes just to get on newgrounds..AND USUALLY

I havent really noticed any problems on the site since the new server. it got a lot faster. it seems like you work on the site a whole lot just to keep us idiots happy.

The only thing that happens to me is that " ERROR the server is under extreme load". I hate when this happens, but I haven't seen any problems on NG. NOW keep working on Pico 2!
