You can blame the past liberal government for ruining the majority of relations between US and Canada.

You are also probably a fairly well experienced individual, a "been there, done that" type. There's a reason all the wisest people are old hags!

Problem is the majority of residents here are underage to vote, drink, or even drive. It shows that their world revolves around the Xbox or their house.

I, however, attend a University that has students from all 50 states and 100+ countries. My math teacher was an exchange student from China. I discussed the Holocaust with a grad student native to Germany. We had a Rwandan too, but he dropped before we talked about Rwandan genocide. My Spanish teacher was FROM Spain, something you rarely see at the high school level. And so on and so forth.

I wasn't trying to say education was the end all of intelligence, I apologise if that's how it sounded. I was simply saying most folks are debating about things they literallly have 0 experience in. I especially like Begoner's recent posts about American atrocities and human rights violations, saying we are worse than anything Saddam ever did and the like. He's also 15, which makes me skeptical as to how he even came to any of those conclusions.

I, however, took a class on genocides, Holocaust, Rwanda, South Africa. While I do see Abu Graib as being a terrible situation and a poor choice of interrogation tactics, I see it being nowhere NEAR what Saddam was doing in the same place.........

I think the contents of this thread prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Canadians and Americans can be just as idiotic.

Come on, here in canada, we smoke pot, and drink at 19, (18 some places) and and in america you play with guns from age 8 but still cant drink till your 21.

Wow that wasnt prejudice or ignorant at all. Canada has obesity problems to. The leading cause of death in Canada is from heart problems usually caused by smoking or OBESITY.

Im from Canada and i don't hate the US. I have friends from the US and some that went over there. We are mixed, we have kids with one another, if one of us sucks then dose not the other suck as well? (Civi people I mean)
