I don't see why gays are hated by those anti-gay bastards, they have done nothing wrong.(Well, in my eyes) They are not directly hurting you with their homosexuality, so why are you people so against them. I have met a lot of people who are gay, many which became my friends. It is strange that they check me out, but they respect me enough not to attack me. My girlfriend and I have a huge group of people who are gays or lesbians, and we see nothing wrong with them. Post your opinions people! If against, tell me why.

Exactly. A gay person doesn't hurt a straight person by being gay. It's not like it actually matters what people do in their bedrooms unless, of course, it's with a minor.

Agree to an extent, I suppose. I mean, there's nothing wrong with being gay. If you won't try to hump me, I'll respect your sexuality and space. Gays aren't any different than other people, only their orientation is. As far as I'm concerned, if you're gay, that's fine. More girls for me.

Yes! Exactly, but a lot (not all) of religious people are against it becuase they are "abominations"....why are they? It is strange when they hit on you, there are a few who are really touchy(personal experience.....um..yeah..) but they mean no harm to the world! Some people are just asslicks.

I thought that marriage was religious. But a civil union gives gays the same rights as a married couple.

The problem isn't gay people, but the whole 'gay pride' shit they tend to pull.
The point of Gay Pride is to make straight people like me, comfortable around gay people.
Walking around with pink triangles, making out in public, grabbing each other's asses, or wearing fetish boy toy gear does not make us more comfortable.
Hell, I know some gays that don't want to say they're gay because as soon as they mention that, people would relate the "coming out of the closet gay" to "that freaking old guy wearing a leather thong"
If gays really want respect, they need to earn it. Telling people that they have mental diseases or forcing people to display colorful rainbow banners doesn't help. Nor is telling everyone you're personal preference.
When a guy tells me he is gay, it's like a friend telling me how he fucked his wife in the ass that night. I don't want to hear it and it is PERSONAL business, keep that shit to yourself.

This has been debated on this forum a lot. Basicly the reason that the government hasnt yet allowed gay marriage is because legaly the government is not required to allow to get married.

Even I agree the flambouant-ness of the gay community can be a bit annoying.
The point of Gay Pride is to make straight people like me, comfortable around gay people.
Nah. Just to let you know that you better think twice nowadays about going homophobe all over the place.
Walking around with pink triangles, making out in public, grabbing each other's asses, or wearing fetish boy toy gear does not make us more comfortable.
Hetro couples make out in public and grab each other's asses, and not once have I seen someone walking down the street in fetish uniform (not in real life at least) The pink triangle however is to the gay community what the black fist is to the African American community, or the hammer-and-sickle to communists (not particularly Leninist or Stalinist either)
Hell, I know some gays that don't want to say they're gay because as soon as they mention that, people would relate the "coming out of the closet gay" to "that freaking old guy wearing a leather thong"
Or maybe its just wanting to keep to themselves? You don't see hetrosexuals 'coming out' do you? Unless they're trying to reassure themselves. The point is, its not some big revelation to everyone and something they just wanna announce to the world, but its a part of them, like any other thing, so they treat it as such and don't scream it out to strangers.
If gays really want respect, they need to earn it. Telling people that they have mental diseases
I think many just accept that because it'll help with civil rights. Can't discriminate if they were born that way, right? But then comes the people trying to 'cure' non-hetrosexual tendencies....
or forcing people to display colorful rainbow banners doesn't help.
Force?
Nor is telling everyone you're personal preference.
Once again I point out that not all of us do that....
When a guy tells me he is gay, it's like a friend telling me how he fucked his wife in the ass that night.
I could respond to that a couple ways, but for now; what if a girl came out to you being lesbian?
Note: Isn't it funny how people always go after gay males in arguments, and much less after lesbian females?
I don't want to hear it and it is PERSONAL business, keep that shit to yourself.
Thats something that can be agreed upon; someone's personal life is their's alone.

true i do find it funny really, i guess alot of "real" guys like the lesbian seen(in thought atleast) though most guys assume lesbians are fit and sexy most likley......then again once you have seen the other tyoes it is not so.....pleasing....to think of.
i dont have anything against gays, if they keep away from me i am fine with it then.....though have alot of people ever noticed the ways gay men are with there voices?......i find it creepy.

I don't ragtag chicks because unlike the men, they simply state they are gay and move on.
However, guys are different. If they are gay, the ENTIRE fucking world must know they are gay.
As for hetrosexuals making out in public and so forth, no shit sherlock. We give em the old "Get a room you two", and it still disguists people. Gays are expected to be excluded from that.
And yes, I have seen fetish gear. I live in Toronto and caught a glimpse of the gay pride parades. They exist.

Listen to this man, who happens to be gay AND a furry. He happens to hate the gay pride shit himself. Make sure you don't drink anything though, otherwise you might need a new keyboard.

Technically, just myself as a lesbian. And this is where any sort of talk about me or my personal life ends....

Good on him. o_O Why'd he make an audio about it then? Where the opening says how gay he is?

I have no problem with gays. I have one gay friend, who has tried to hit on me when drunk, but I wasn't too worried about it. He's not flamboyant or particularly extrovert, and he's a good mate.
Gay 'weddings' are stupid, but civil partnerships are not. The wedding bit is only silly because it's a relligious partnership, in a relligion that is anti-homosexuality. (At least anti- the act of homosexuality)

If homosexuals want some respect, they should shut up and be happy that they got gay bars.

I think their parades are fucking stupid and gives them the image of attention whores and crazy crossdressing mansluts.
speaking of which, gay men are probably looser with they partners and all that shit, so I guess they can pass around their diseases 10x faster.
But whatever, that's not them being gay, its them being stupid assholes.

This morning on KNBC (yes, radio) they talked about a study done on homophobes. They placed a band around the penis' of 5 of 'em and showed them erotic gay porn.
4/5 begat considerable enlargment.
I tried to get a link but...

I can't believe they agreed to take part!
Researcher - 'Oi skinhead would you like to come and watch gay porn with a band around your penis?'
Skinhead - 'Mmm, that would be lovely, will there be free biscuits?'
That is a conversation I would love to witness.

im a bit shocked by the amount of people in here who say "i dont mind them, as long as they stay away from me" thats basically homophobia... its an out of site out of mind thing... recently i was hit on by a gay guy... i have no problem with gay guys so what did i do... just took it as a compliment but declined... that was the end of it and i got a little bit of a chuckle out of it, there nothing wrong with what happened, he didnt rape me or beat me it just ended there... i saw him in the bar the next night and it was fine!

If gays stop stereotyping themselves like drag queens or full on going "GAy pride", maybe I will start respecting them. Otherwise, they can go to hell.
