What is there to know? there are buttons and you click them. The parts are all probably in thier own movieclips on there own frame on the main timeline. So, when they click to button, it brings then to the frame with the corrosponding animation with gotoAndStop("part")

I can help i think.

Im not very good with AS but i think that my theory (though uses more than needed frames) will work.

Ok if you are playing it in sections this will be hard other than that it will be easy.

First of all after you make your animated movie clip or whatever for the front page create the buttons. Then on that frame that your menu is on go to actions and put a stop command in.

Put all your buttons on the menu.

Put the ENTIRE movie all in correct order starting the frame after the menu and at the end of the entire movie in the last frame put a gotoFrame and go to whatever frame the menu is in.

Now put the entire movie AGAIN!!! right after the first. Then make the buttons gotoFrame (usually name the frames 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc) which start at each part. Then at the end of each part make another goto action in that frame that takes you back to the menu.

In other words, make a PLAY ALL button to play the sections entirely together, then put the separate titles that go to frame labels eg.1,2,3,4,5,6 corresponding with the title or order that particular section that is in. Sorry if this does not help but this is the only way I can think of, it takes up space and wastes frames though sadly.
