I think cannabis should be legalised, but it should be realised that it is a drug, and changes people's bevahiour. I think similar laws as with alcohol should be implimented e.g. driving under heavy influence of cannabis, etc.

Blarg! This could actualy be a decent discussion if someone brought up a fresh point. As a few people have mentioned, masterbation is illegal in some countries (with some harsh penalties). Not to mention the fact that I'm pretty sure masturbation in a public is illegal (and rightfully so). I dont think masturbation should be illegal becuse there is no harm in doing it.Also even if they do legalize it it will be very hard to catch people jacking off because most people do it in the privacy of their own homes.

Yeah, the story of Onan was really weird to me. Saying it's about masturbation is stretching it too far in my opinion. When I read over that passage I assumed it meant that Onan was using a primative form of contraception. I don't think it's that fact that he spilled his "seed" on the floor, but that he disobeyed god. And when someone disobeyed god in the old testament, he smited them. It's good that you brought this up though.

No that's not the same. If they castrated males out birth, the human civilization would cease to exist.
