I keep getting the following error when i try to run my cgi/perl scripts for a news updater

[Tue Jan 31 19:09:38 2006] [error] [client 67.167.226.152] Premature end of script headers: /home/x02/public_html/cgi-bin/be_news_admi
n.cgi

anyone know how to fix?

if needed i can send a copy of the script

hmm... okay then...right click these and 'save target as' these links then

Be-News (Admin Setup)
Be-News (Actual Program)
NewsAdmin (the first program i tried)
NewsAdmin Admin Panel

Also, if you have any suggestion for tried and true html news updaters that don't take forever to configure, those will also be readily accepted

Do you have to have a cgi/perl script, can't you use a php one?

Or use a well known script, like the sequel to Newspro (forgot what it was called)

php systems are easier to set up. If your host supports php & mysql, that's your best bet. If you have fantastico installer on your host, they have blog/news programs that you can click the button and it installs for you and they tell you how to access the file(s).

i did update it in ASCII format, but the script i'm using says no edits need to be made, so i jsut uploaded as is
