Got addicted to MMOs. (Final Fantasy 11... but hey, I'm a 75 dragoon! :D) I kinda quit all together. I try and make stuff, but it never gets finished... and that ends up draining more of my motivation. (Because I end up having the, "why bother, you aren’t going to finish it anyway... just quit before you start" mentality.)

Ah, I see. Yeah, I get that way too a lot (hence the not submitting my "in progress" piece for Pico Day) but for me its phases, I'll work and finish stuff for a couple months and then not do anything for awhile, but hey its good while you get stuff done. The stuff you have finished right now looks great, and I'm sure if you got any motivation back the stuff you would make would completely rule.

That is a great preloader, but I've made my own (by modifying the original NG one).

Not all flashes need to be equal with the animation skills such as bitey of brakenwood

It's the content

Age however isn't an issue, it's just typical that most people of a younger age tend to be awful at animation. But this is different for some people, the guy who made CS: Assault and DE:Dust was only 13 when he made them is an example that younger people can animate.

Yes I agree. =) I am 14 years old and I started like 10 months ago - to a year. And I paused in practicing for 2 months. I've mastered sprite (who hasn't =P) And I've been practicing in Frame by Frame movement movies. I just hate when people start flaming other people. WELL, Here is another drawn image that I might use I don't know. Its Pico peaking in on Alien Hominid's Plan.

Very exciting times people. I'm sure you'll glad to know that Pico (or someone who dresses like him) makes a cameo appearance in my "When Farm Animals Attack" Collab piece due mid May. It's looking pretty nice now.

Couple people were wondering if their symbol made it into my scene so heres a screengrab. This was actually a bad idea, some of you guys (or I) have a flash version that isnt running right or something and your symbols are corupt.. they totally fucked up my original file, luckly i have multiples and i only used the symbols that were compatible with my early version of flash 8.
