but anyways. it was interesting enough to keep me from exiting the window (not to be mean.)

But if you want to have any kind of chance in this contest, you're going to need some kind of storyline. Something to make it worthwhile, so if all else fails (graphics, action) the story might hook more viewers.

Luckily I can change the music, finding a good song would be difficult as I used Leftfield's "Phat Planet" therefore I'll need a similar song from the audio portal.

Anyway I didn't come on for the music, I have a query . It says on the Pico day page:

"The only downside is that you can't have external sponsorships for this contest. Pico is the Newgrounds mascot and we want all the entries to maintain an NG / Pico preloader and logo in the intro. Luis has made a slick Pico loader, which can be found in the thread."

I didn't use a preloader as the flash maker I chose doesn't do well in that department however I did this (pic below) for the "preloader" if you can call it that and was wondering if this qualifies with the above requirements.

Some of my music is audio portal. Some of it is the original pico music (which I assume wouldn't be a problem)

One part uses a snippet from an old 80's band that no one knows about because I couldn't find any audio portal stuff to fit : /

Also the ending credits use a short loop that I've had on my computer for ages... not sure if it's copyrighted or not.

but it's mostly AP. so it should be ok..

lol, looks like no-one noticed the small print. I use V-cam aswell, but easier than tweening everything. Makes the animation look more professional I think. I'll post some more screenies later, only 10 days left! better finish my hidden scene.

damn... i used SMALL portions of a song... and i dont think anyone will know what song it is ... and i used the song from the OST of pico's school (lol, ost)... just like some other people around... i know its wrong but im too far now...

i liked the intro... the voice of pico's cousin was weird... the background was not too detailed, i think you should take care of that... the gun looks weird in the character's hand... shouldnt it be facing left instead of right?... and pico running at the end looks weeeird... too

it wouldnt be too correct, but you could make a new account OR use a friends' account to submit your movie...

if all of this fails you would have no choice but submit it on may 1st (by the way, no illegal or legal mexicans will go to work that day, and nobody here in mexico will buy american products that day... its just to proove to America that latin-american illegal inmigants are a BIG part of USA's economy :D)

Damn.. I made a video with Copyrighted music.

BUT. If we do use it and notify the maker than it should be alright. Even If we put CREDIT to them in the credits. I really don't think Linkin Park (what I am using) will get all pissed to see their song in a video I am making. They probably would care less.

I dont know where the fuck my animator went so if anyone wants a to animate my game, they can. I think it looks really cool. Its basically mortal combat, multi-player and single player, 3 different characters including 5 unlockables. So its all programmed just need some art. :) Contact me on e-mail, msn messenger

Damn, I've used copyright music in mine. A lot of music by Disturbed.
Since I have animated the entire song (and then some) It'll be really hard to change it due to the song actually being part of the movie.
