Yeah, I was able to fix that up, and I think in that version I wasn't finished with the "Give" command. But I've got all that added. Now I must finish the rest in 14 days. yay :D

time's almost up and i still dont have a story for my game yet. i have alot of the code and some of the art done but if i cant think of something to make it about i wont be able to finish. it is gonna be about emo kids invading the school bt that about it. if any one has any ideas they would be apreciated and credited.

no offence but thatlooks horible. you can drawl in flash and its not that hard to draw with a mouse (it is easyer to drawl with a tablet though).you are making bad excuses

I say I've finished it but it's incredibly short

44 seconds and 700 or so frames at a 18fps rate

but I've touched mine up with random things to make it look nice

I see everyone else is doing tonnes of work and I really like the look of most peoples work

You'll be disgracing 13 year olds like myself when you submit that. Don't use .jpegs or .bmps when you are making flashes. Draw it in flash. Also, can you put it on imageshack or something and post the link here because we most likely won't see that on Pico Day unless you see it in the portal before it gets blammed.

I actually find that drawing with a mouse is easier :P Maybe because I have been using it for a year or so.

How exactly is the name of the character pronounced? I was previously always sure of my own interpretation, but suddenly I realise I don't think I have any way of knowing for sure...

Seeing as the name's gonna be spoken out a few times in my team's submission, I'd really appreciate any help regarding that.

I know the pronunciation was touched upon around half-was through this thread... but that wasn't very conclusive at all.

I think it's 'pee-co', but for some reason I pronounce it like 'pick-to' more often.

when I'm using the brush tool sometimes it makes my stuff look very straight so I have to erase and re draw it over ,but there are times when it works fine, this bothers me a lot do you have any idea about what might be causing it?

Hmm...I did have this problem once. It seemed like I could draw completely straight without touching the SHIFT key (the shift key makes it draw striaght for you if you didn't know) and it was very confusing.

At first I thought it was my mouse but it was new. Then I tried changing the "Pencil" option from straighten to ink (I thought that was causing my brush to act the same way) but it was also happening to me in MS Paint. So in the end, I simply restarted my computer and it was fine :\

Haven't happened to me ever since...I'm not sure if I can help you much lol.

This is something ive had to put up with in flash 8... it has new algorythms and calculations for the brush/line tool and so in an attempt to 'help' you by assuming that you wanted a straight line or whatever it acts the way it does.. havent bothered to see if theres a way to shut that off or what... that smoothing meter does almost nothing to it. So my suggestion would be to go back a few versions in your flash program if you happen to have em. i miss the flash mx days.
