How helpful.
Anyway, as Speedsk8r said, go to our forums and register if you really want to join the team. We won't let you join the team if you do not showcase your work. If your work is not up to standard, then try to improve, and we will take you into consideration. Either way, we'd still let you register on our forums, and post messages.

At the moment, we definetely need more AS'ers, and I guess voice actors could come in handy. More animators would be good, but only a few as we've got eight already.

Be aware, anyone who tries to showcase to us something that isn't their own work will be found out. If they continue to do so, they WILL be banned from the forums permanently, as will their IP address, as it would be letting the team down.

And excuse the in the post above.
It was supposed to make the post bold, but it looks like a different code is used here, which is sad, as it's taken away the officialness.
All I can say is whoops.

No offense or anything, but I think you’d have a better chance of getting a decent AS’er if you stopped using “u”, “hav”, and “dun” on your forums.

Erm... I don't think that will really affect our chances to find decent AS's, thats our own forum, so im sure we can have freedom in wrting in our own way/style.
Anyway, if thats really distracting, we can avoid those writings here in the NG forums.

So if anyone interested, please visit our site. The site may seemed a little messy, but we are doing some projects now. Simply show us some of your works and projects and we'll see if you're able to join us or not. Thanks.

Actually, I think it will. Using words like that make your forums seem extremely unprofessional, and may turn potential actionscripters away. It ruins the effect; everything else is done professionally, the layout, the topics, the information...and all of a sudden you run into "plz show us some work u hav dun"

It doesn't even look like an abbreviation, it looks like you're illiterate.

But go about it however you want.

If you can prove to me there are some skills in your team then I can ActionScript to a decent level, and tend to be able to learn new skills on the fly when needed. If you want an example, you'll have to tell me to make something as an example, because I don't have any finished work (every time I start something, after 2 days I've learnt something that makes me realise I'm wasting my time).

I'm back! on a temporary basis. No-one can remember who I am! but I don't really mind.

When working on a project, do you select a small group of people from the list from who's available and willing to the project and make a small group of that with not two people doing the same thing. (only one person doing the art, one for programming this, one for that, one for thus)

Or do you use whoever is available at the time or in your group?

If the latter, I won't care to join.
If the other method, then you'll may have a new Bg Artist/Character Artist/Concept Artist/Animator/Thinktank on your hand.

There are some members with quite good skills in our team, but they may not be free now to really show you what can they do. So i guess you can either refer to our profiles for past works or go to our forums (but i guess that aren't really much works there to show you too.)

Anyway, if you are really interested, then you can just drop by our forum to take a look, we'll welcome everyone. Although we are in need of scriptors, but we also must make sure that you are really interested before joining.

I completely agree. Would you write out a CV or a resume with "I'm a great artist and animator, I hav loads of qualifications, u can hav a look if u like!" ? No, I didn't think so. Presenting yourself properly online is just as important as presenting yourself properly when going to a job interview.

I'd take note of the advice he's given you.

simple & minimal, that's my style.

Yes yes... We'll take note of these areas in the future. Just something we might have overlook when we started. Thanks for these advices, anyway, just as what i have said earlier, we'll welcome anybody who is interested in working in a team.

Ok, ok. Thanks for the English lesson people, but this is not the point of the thread. We do have some truly talented people on our team, like British_Moose said, but we are in need of a few more talented AS'ers as well.
