I actually agree with you on some points, such as the sanpping radius. It is way too fucking big! I turn it on so I can set a motion guide (i do that a lot) and then to draw a simple line I have to turn snapping off or I have to make it either horizontal or vertical. I get you on that one.

glaiel already said how to fix that, go to prefernces and you can make it less sensitive

In case you hadn't noticed, it snaps with things from other layers as well.
And making more layers is just fucking tedious and annoying. I already did a Flash with a layer for everything, and that Flash is called "The Trio", it sucks donkey balls and it took me forever to unscramble the massive layer jumble in there.

but anyways, this is just a static drawing. I COULD make a new layer for every new color of every new object, but then I would be a total wanker for wasting all my time clicking away at each one to try and find the one I want, or renaming all of them constantly.

if you have multiple layers, and click one frame, it selects what is on the frame. Not every layer, just one layer. The layer with the frame you click.

Yeah its hard to make BGs fit properly when they are bigger than the movie frame because flash doesn't show the edge of the movie in the foreground, only in the background! Again, there is no reason for this other than being retarded. They would lose nothing by having an outline of it in the foreground at all times, above all layers.

you dont need to make a layer for each color. just every different part of a drawing. like one for eyes, nose, or hair or whatever. and just lock up layers your done with so they dont get in the way. and i dont see what renaming would do. plus all of these problems are in photoshop too. so you should be used to them

Layers do make it much easier, and I use layers a lot, but it doesn't solve everything.

plus all of these problems are in photoshop too. so you should be used to them

None of these problems are in photoshop, for two reasons:
1- photoshop is not made for vector art
2- photoshop rocks

yes action usually follows complaining, but that doesnt mean complaining was an essential part of changing something wrong. if they had skipped complaining and gone straight to action everything would work out fine. and no talking about how to change it is not complaining, thats planning, which is acting.

ANd yes, so what if there's other ways? There's another way to make a .swf than using flash you know, all you have to do is open C and program your own swf-making sotfware! See?

I use the, click frame select everything a LOT, and i luv them for it. As the selecting color making everything selected said color, just Ctrl+Z >=(

click lasso -> draw shape -> click paint bucket -> fill shape
click pencil -> draw shape -> click paint bucket -> fill shape

And BTW most of your issues are NOT facts or bugs or problems with the proogram. They are strictly opinions. I tried to use photoshop once and HATED it cause it was too hard to use. I was like why cant they make it easy to use like flash?
Now that doesnt mean that photoshop is bad, it means that I started with flash, therefore i am used to flashes tools and have grown to like them, and I used most of the things you complain about to my advantage. YOU started with photoshop, and are not used to flash. Therefore you dont like flashes's tools, and havent seen the usefulness of these tools. Think, forget your own project for now. Could these things possibly have uses for another project? The answer is yes, cause most of us use them every day to help our projects. If you look at flash with a more open mind, and try to learn how it works, you will learn to love it. The same could bee said about me and photoshop, but personally i'm not a graphics artist so i could care less about photoshop.

Read this and remember, flash and photoshop are different. If they both worked the same way, it would no longer be Macromedia FLash, but Adobe Flash

Well anyways forget the bad, and try to find ways to use this to your advantage. Layers are really useful. If you draw your background, you can lock that layer (so you dont have to click white to deselect everything, cause apparently you dont like that.)
