Well, if you say "I love Sweden" in Sweden, you will be mixed up for being a nazis.
So everything patriotic, all appreciation you want to show your country is forbidden if you don't want to be known as a racist or nazi.
When the king of Sweden (Carl Gustaf the XVI) visited my school, the chorus sang some African song for him, with drums and a text in a foreign language...
The other day, I played the Swedish national anthem on my electric guitar for my little brother.
Now just for a test, as I somehow did suspect that he (Even though he is seven years old) wouldn't recognize it.
After I had played the entire anthem, he still didn't know what I had just played.
So... is it right that children in school are to learn songs in foreign languages, when they obviously can't even recognize the national anthem of their own country?
