I just got Fruity Loops (B0UNC3's music inspired me to get off my ass and do something) and I can't figure out how it works. I've tried tutorials, so don't just give me a link, it won't help.
My problem is not in making the loops, because I can do that just fine. My problem is merging them. I have so many great loops, but I can't get past the simple problem of merging them and making a freakin' song more than 2.5 seconds long. Can anyone offer some help here?

Ah. What you want to do is open the "Playlist" window and organize the blocks of patterns you want there. I'm sure if you wait, you'll get a screenshot... but I hope that helped.

Hey. Make sure "song" is selected (tiny thing beside the play button). a Press F5 until you see the playlist window. It is in this window that you can arrange your patterns/loops.

I know that much from the searchbar, see... but I can't organize the boxes in the pattern windowto work. Even when I have two in a row, only the selected one plays.
Even when I have two layers at once, only one layer plays. I can't get them to merge

if you press "Song" under "Pattern" which is located under the big time thingy, and right beside the "Play" button, it will play all the patterns you have.
If that doesn't solve your problem, either you have some form of crap demo of Fruity Studio's thats even worse then the official demo,
or your not doing it right.
