I like just about anything. The only kind of music i can't stand is the 4 seconds loops rap music that makes a 4 minutes song. And above that you have the baddest "mofo" of the world, whoever he is cause there's plenty of them, he's the baddest and the meanest. He has all the hoes and all the police working for him. All the guns and all the jewels and everything else he states in his "music". This is just ridiculous, and all them groupies see that and think that guns are a way to solve problems, and that they are all kings of something and that we owe them everything. That you can treat women like piece of trash because that's what they are being shown. Where the hell does this crap all come from? This is not a style, not a way of life. Maybe them rappers don't take it seriously but the youth does. It's a fucked up generation that's coming on it's way now. Can't wait for the carnage to come in the next couple of years.

OK sorry i wont complain anymore.

I totally agree leo - I go downtown hamilton - and good god it scares me - white trash rappers and their 15 year old girlfriends pushing strollers with like 2 year old kids in them - now THATS scary..

and whats up with the walk>? They have their pant crotch down halfway between their legs so they have to waddle because thats the only way to keep their pants up - that and why are they always paired up with the ghetto white/black girl with the glitter makeup and those damn white jackets? whats up with the jakcets? and the men wear the ones with the fur on the hood and the damn ass ghettoest white shoes ever. I look at them and wanna run away..

I wanna see a world where whites and blacks acted like they did... like a generation ago - there were more white rappers back then and it was all about scratching and maying rhymes.. and black men actually SANG - well that was a few generations before that as well - I mean the only black NON-rapper we have is lennie... what does that say for black-kind? Anyone remember the band in living colour? Bad assest guitar black band ever - I listen to their stuff and am in awe - this generation is TRASH!

i listen to death metal, black metal, grindcore, metalcore, and thats about it :D aside from a few other metal sub genres i like but just dont listen to that often. and i like some rockish stuff, like pink floyd and thingz.

rap (I was concerned Solus might not have understood my prediciment unless I PAINTED the walls with the answer).

But to be fair, not every rap song is bout bitches 'n hoes, guns, murder, and such. There are some rappers who actually rap about important political events, and Eminems last CD was WIERD. He had one song, his farewell to the music world that was actually pretty good.

It is not fair to hate against the genre, because the majority of it is crap, simply filter the crap out, and enjoy whats left behind.

True, there are gems everywhere, but I'm not willing to sift through THAT crap just to find the rap gems- you can find them much easier in this here AP. Like...

I'd have to agree with you there, the genre itself isn't crap, but most of the music within the genre is... why? Because most rap artists are crap, therefore only producing crap. I blame the artists not the genre because any true musician who excels in their genre should be able to make it sound good to anyone, or at least "okay."

Oh yea, and I really like classical music and pretty much all of electronica, all subgenres and such, except for House and New Wave, I'm not such a big fan of those.

Metal, I am a hugggggge Megadeth nut. I can't stand the metal like cannibal corpse and stuff where its crazy ass screaming though. After that I like random rock bands for the most part, some gooder punk bands, then the oldies. I really wish I lived in the 60s and 70s, they had such rad bands putting out album after album of good stuff, nowadays it seems to just be the britney spears and ushers that come out with new shit on a regular basis (when the hell is Billy Talents next cd coming out for example?)

For the most part I dislike country and rap. Of course theres some of each that I like, like oldschool rapping by mc hammer and stuff, or the Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks, but for the most part I can't stand that music.

I don't interrest in Hip-hop. It's all about lyrics, and sometimes I think they must shut up their big f8cking mind.

And for children music, well, it's just argghish

I'll give anything a shot at least once. Truth be told I'm not a huge fan of rap and hip-hop, but I'm not against 'em either.

It's gotta have life. Energy. A soul. It's gotta move, which most music today doesn't. It's gotta breathe.

If it doesn't do that, it's a dead song to me.
