video games are evil

i have read the statistics..i have examined the studys. ive come to the conclusion that video games are evil. here is a good example

crime commited by youth in 1953 = .9% of all crime

youth crime in 2005 = 49.6% of all crime.

percentage of youth criminals that own a xbox,ps2, or gamecube = 98.4%

percentage of them owned any game of the gta series=99.9%

this shows that video games that are violent, mainly GTA are a big problem.

here is a story of one case in florida:
tom G isacson often played video games on his gamecube and PS2. he had a rather large collection. one game really consumed him tho.
it was alien homonid. he played it for 6 hours out of a day. He often talked about it with his parrents. he would talk about the bosses and how much he loved it.

Tom G isacson was sentenced to 14 years in prison on december 2nd. he was accused of attempting to "jump on his best friends head and start biting. he then after failing that started hitting his friend. then after his friend was on the ground he started chewing on his ear and nose. he then jumped on his friend and hit him until he was completely knocked out." he was severly injured....

This proving that the new game alien homonid is the Next GTA and should also be pulled from the shelves of game stores.

I do believe this should show NG users the truth about video games..

You can't only state those facts too, you need other facts. That kid obviously has problems(if this is even true, I mean WTF) and playing video games like that trigger his obsessive problems or whatever.

And you also need to consider the fact that since video games are more popular nowadays, almost everyone has one, so it isn't that shocking to see someone make a crime and own a videogame.

And there is more violence and bad influence overall these days.

Or you could just say it's because of cell phones. More kids have cell phones now, and more kids commit crimes. Or maybe it's because of the internet, it's so common to see someone with a computer and internet, and that person could commit a crime. Or maybe it's oversleeping, or smoking pot, or eating popular foods, or listening to too much music.

Or maybe it's just the fact that people have problems....

Games are not clinically proven to bring out the violence in most people, its usually a different element of their life that sparks a provoked attack, and the video game inspires ways of how to lash out.

Plus most people are using video games as a shield to blame their rampages on, then it takes most of the blame off them, when they are sentenced. All this bad rep about video games is pointless, its usually the person's choice whether or not to kill someone, and the video game doesn't make people kill each other.

I love gaming, I own a few systems and plenty of games. I own more than 400 CDs; some as violent as heavy metal and punk like Marilyn Manson and the Sex Pistols to as harmless as Beethoven and Nobuo Uematsu. I am not a violent youth. Actually I'm not even a youth anymore. I've never been in trouble with the law. Unfortunetly, I can't even say I'm a geeky loser who sits in his bedroom surfing the net and watching NG flashes all day. Yes, videogames make people run out and steal cars and kill people; it's right up there with the people that eat so much McDonalds they become obese and the people that jump off bridges because their friends do it.
